That's been the consensus all year is retail Select basketball, you just hope it isn't printed like Select football.

So far it seems like baseball and football are being massed produced. No signs of that being done with basketball. If you want to score any product at retail you better hope they produce this like football. I scored a ton of Select football on Target.

Unless they are implying that Hybrid won’t have Zebras. It’s bad enough as is with Hybrid and Tmall. Really feel like Select lost its luster after 2018.

I'm still confused why Panini chose to destroy Select by pushing out retail when they could've boosted Revolution by simply releasing CNY as a retail format.

Panini realizes that the once-in-a-lifetime boost they got during pandemic won't last forever.

If 2021 Select is 'watered down' and they make a fortune, why would they care? They can always limit next year's release should they so choose.

Responsible management of product is very important here. Destroying product lines to make a few more bucks today is not the move to make.

Probably 6300 boxes, up from 3900 last year. But with FOTL exclusive "Black Snake Skin" Pulsar 1/1 base and auto sets added so these will be hot no matter how much they make.

There is 0% chance this gets to 500.

Just look at Prizm for reference. FOTL boxes seem to be around 1800. There's no way Select boxes even get to half of that.

Sheesh, over a 61% increase from last year plus they're likely doing retail which will hugely increases the number of silvers produced. Panini's milking it for everything it's worth before the golden goose croaks...

Just for reference, the number of Select FOTL boxes is only ~1000 less than the entire Elite production run (which is 7,475 boxes)....and that's only the FOTL boxes. Yikes

At the bare minimum every single Lamelo auto and probably any #'d parallel. Based on last year that's probably 2,000+ cards just on him alone. I suspect some will "settle" in the $700-$800 range but if you look at Prizm sales even now in a soft market anything #'d that gets listed is getting to 1K+.

Then of course the low #'d parallels of other players will cross that threshold. If there is one product to gamble on, this is a good one because your odds are going to be better here than on most other products.

Nah dude, not even close lol. 2,000+ cards of Lamelo worth more than $1K in the current market dip/crash?? The highest #'d parallel in Prizm is the Red #/299 and a Lamelo Red sold for only $600 recently. And do you know how hard it is to even hit a Red Lamelo? Entire cases have been ripped without so much as sniffing a #'d Lamelo parallel. And this is Prizm we're talking about, not Select whose card values will be even lower. On top of all this, it's more than likely Lamelo will never fulfill his auto redemptions with Panini.

Considering how much Lamelo's card values have tanked across the board, Select FOTL should be way below $1K. It should be close to MSRP. But it will never get there b/c too many foolish botters/resellers think they can still flip it for profit even at around $1K/box.
