Just got this in. I know SGC is not even close to PSA (or even BGS), but I thought the price was right. And the black on black (and black uniform) is pretty cool.

The black Prizm looks better in the SGC case anyways.

Eagles fan here, I own 0 hurts cards for a reason. I have not seen 1 thing but leadership as a franchise QB. He is an average QB at most. Marcus Mariota 2.0? Ya, looks like it.

The only posts we will be seeing about hurts is how much money they lost on investing in him.

I imagine we will have Watson next year at the helm, or lets hope.

Seems fairly harsh after 4 starts (one of which he didn't even get to finish) but we'll see I guess. I didn't put money into Hurts because I *know* he is going to pan out but he was impressive enough in what I saw last year to take a stab at buying/holding some. A lot of people don't even realize he was highly efficient as a passer in college even in SEC/B12 play. Sure, college QBs can have flaws "hidden" easier but you don't have a 4:1 TD/INT ratio and complete 65+% of your passes playing in the SEC/B12 by accident. He's got the physical talent for sure he just needs to prove he's got it above the shoulders at the pro level. Time will tell.

Another QB to challenge Hurts.

Just traded for Gardner Minshew.

Good move by the Iggles (hate to admit it). I don't think its a move to "challenge" Hurts anytime in the short term as much as it is an indictment on how little confidence they have in Flacco as a backup plan were Hurts to not progress like they want him to early in the season.

Example: If Hurts and the team struggle through September, they really have no logical reasoning for benching Hurts for Flacco. After 4-6 weeks in the building though, benching Hurts for Minshew is definitely viable. Worst case scenario, Minshew is basically that prototypical top-end backup QB every team wants where you legit believe they can come in and win the game.

He played really well, russ style, weak arm, but composed most of the game--who knows?

Eagles need to solidify a run game weekly, screens all day, etc.

SGC is very close to PSA and BGS. Don't downplay that card! Very nice card. SGC is best known for vintage, but once crossover grading returns after the flippers leave our hobby for the next "cash cow" you will be thrilled with that card, I expect.

Even without crossover I think SGC sees a nice bump. Some really good young players that aren't yet superstars (like the Hurts above maybe?) will be in SGC slabs

I think SGC is going to hold and see a steady increase *if* they manage to stay consistent. Right now, their grading process is really solid and consistent with what grades are given out. Highly impressed with the integrity of the grades of the order I sent out and the ones I've bought.

Like I said though, this is predicated on them staying the course and staying consistent. I hope they do because the potential is definitely high for them to continue growth.

He made huge strides in the passing game with Lincoln Riley at OU.

He's a good one.

Really nice start to the season for Hurts and the Birds.

Hurts game line was obviously pretty nice.

Mostly short and intermediate throws. The long pass to Ertz probably could have been a TD had he not underthrown it (and Ertz didn't actually catch it anyway). But I don't really have concerns with arm-strength. Hopefully Sirianni will open up the playbook more downfield as the season goes on.

Hurts running was about as I expected, which is to say it extends drives and is a nice weapon that defenses must respect.

All in all, very happy with today! Bring on the 49ers!

Heatdawg doesn't represent Philly despite his avatar. SMH.

Washington fan here who has known And interacted with tons of eagles fans and I 100% agree. The only eagles "fans" who act like douchebags are the ones who are aware of the bad side of the fanbases reputation and act that way thinking it shows they are hardcore or something. The vast majority of fans of all teams are just fans and rational, not fully fanatical.

Woohoo! First PSA sub. Solid result. Way quicker than I thought they'd move, too, given it was "just" Express.

Ha, appreciate it - I think I'll at least let it get back to me first before I start thinking about moving it!
