I am just saying, in general, when I hear someone worked at a job for a month before leaving, the safe assumption is that the employer pulled a bait and switch or lied about hours or stuck with some dunderhead boss or any number of other reasons they are a screwed up company. On the other hand, if an employee was at a job for a month and is already sending out resumes to new potential employers, that means they know their worth and they aren't getting it.

So, I agree with you, if someone switches jobs within a month, that is a huge red flag that the employer doesn't take care of their workforce.

As long as it's not a pattern of short stints, the last one ending quickly is not going to be a huge issue. The good answers above would work for me.

You're not familiar with the OP, are you? Not the best advice...

Didn’t want a gap. It’s not a “I have to move right now” I mean I can smile and make it into the New Year if I have to but I just don’t want to.

Nice group of people just don’t feel the new manager is in a good place to be taking and training a new employee. Her first day of manager was my first day. It just hasn’t been smooth and not much going on. I beg for work a few times a day and I find myself reading training manuals. Just seems rather poorly put together.
