Was able to get a pack today at The Giants dugout store. Did some early xmas/birthday shopping to reach the $150. Nothing earth shattering, but if I was a Mets fan, I'd be happy. The Bryant is #'d /99. Looks like they had a 600 count card box full of the packs, so not a ton.

I went to the Cleveland game last night. Anything with the Players Association logo was included so I bought 19 way-overpriced retail 16-card packs @$8 each to meet my $150. My 5 base were Fried, McKenzie, Bryant, Olson and Kershaw, and I pulled a green Julio Rodriguez #/99.

Opened 3 packs in Kansas City today
Witt blue /150
Trea Turner Green /99
Ke’bryan Hayes blue /150

Oneil Cruz, Wander RCs

There’s going to be so many of these that go to people that have no idea what they got and will never see the light of day.

Just some quick math looks like 15,500 packs with about 1550 base cards per subject.

Imagine pulling a gold Witt and the card is damaged. Thanks Topps.

Don't know how much of that is actually on Topps. These are packed 75 packs to a box and they are using what looked like 600ct boxes to store them at the register, or just loose. Most employees don't know anything about these so I would expect most of these packs to have some dings. Feel like mint is going to carry a premium.

They have them at Wrigley, but I couldn't find anything I wanted to buy to get me to 150. I don't need anymore jerseys and they didn't even really have much for cards or even shirseys. Tough to find MLPA licensed stuff beyond that.

I have a feeling the bulk of these packs just end up going home with someone at the end of the season

Topps and MLBPA did a horrendous job with the roll out of this program. No one anywhere at the two ballparks I have gone to from the list have any idea what I am talking about. None of the dozen people working in the team store. None of the people responding through customer service emails. Never heard of it.

Either all parks didn't get the cards, or they did and not knowing what they were for tossed them in a storage room somewhere. That's assuming they didnt already get thrown away or taken home by someone who realized what they were

Exactly.
These should have been like a new blockbuster movie release. How can you go on release day and no one in the theater has heard of the new Top Gun and they haven't seen the files with the movie on it and have never heard of the movie.
These should have been clearly communicated, well in advance, to all staff at all team shops along with all customer service representatives.
They should have been told about this on opening day with updates every few weeks about what the shipment would look like and when it will arrive and what the first date of ability to sell them would be
It's really just s total disaster and lack of preparedness across the board here.

Not all parks are going to get these. Read the link in the OP.

Was responding to this.

ETA: it's a bummer for me, because the two places I am likely to catch a game- Philly and the Twin Cities- are not on the list.

Angel stadium wasn't on the list, but dodger stadium was and was TBA. So I apologize for including one extra stadium and inconveniencing you.
