Normally, yes, but they worked for this so I used my 60,000 points up! Plus I received 180 points on each order.

Awesome! I just used 16,000 points on 4 3-box orders...12 boxes for a total of $21.08! Good stuff!

Thanks for sharing this!!

I purchased 24000 points ($20 per 4000) and used 4000 of my own points (unfortunately, split as 2000 point codes).

For now, I'll be getting 20 boxes for $153!

Possibly landing another 8000 points (for $40), in which case, I'll add another 6 boxes.

Happy to know points could be used for these, makes it a much easier (and exciting) buy!

Looks like TBD.

Luke, Han, and Leia all included in Wave 1, so maybe there won't be too many waves.

As far as I know, "rewards" points can only be used for Topps Now products.

Is that what everyone is attempting to use?

Every now and then there is a glitch in the system and you can use em', this was a case of that until topps fixed it literally during my purchase of (20)

No biggie for me as i only had a couple thousand points

So are these print to order - so if people buy 500,000 boxes during the period that will be the run or is there some type of limit?

No limit. You can buy until the clock hits zero. PR will be huge for wave 1 then drop significantly on future waves.

I have over 20,000 points and nothing to use them for.

I have to buy a few boxes of these as I enjoy owning the first of almost everything.

I am actually in agreeance with you as i could see as low as 20k or possibly as high as 40k but i would ask who else even knows about these other than us and 1 or 2 other random collector forums?

$1.61 (with tax) for a print to order card these days is a pretty good deal, given the subject matter and a chance for parallel cards that will certainly hold value.
Even a set of 50 regular base cards sounds like a potentially $50 dollar item (maybe a little less if a lot are offered right away).

Still, these are smaller sized cards which ultimately, makes them less collectible than the standard size, and therefore garbage (I kid, I kid).

I'll get 3 packs like I usually do of something like this, maybe a few more thanks to the friendly price point.

Congrats to those who got to use points by buying early. Great bargains there!

Super glad they kept the price point same as the baseball release. I’ll be in for a few packs of each wave

I am contemplating the blue star field master set...should be totally doable and not too cost prohibitive but to those whom seek the red star field master, god help ye.......

....although the thought crossed my mind, would look SOOOOO good bindered up and/or in PSA Slabs

I wish they'd just release these as a set. Don't really want to buy 7 boxes just to have enough cards to make the 50-card set.

I could care less about parallels. I'm sure I could move any I pull to offset some of the cost, but I might just be better served picking up a complete set once they land.

I'd be willing to trade you a wave 1 base set for a sketch card commission

T206-sized cards are the future. Less cardboard = more sustainable. At least that's what the kids are saying. Plan accordingly. haha.

Wondering if there are any cards that aren't listed on the checklist that could be included in packs?
Baseball had the 1/1 buy backs

Possibility of autographs in later waves?

One option is to calculate what you'd be willing to spend on a 50 card base set, and buy that many boxes. I've found more often than not with these kinds of sets you can sell the parallels to at least get your money back, and sometimes enough extra for a base set. And of course, if you hit something really good parallel-wise, you'd come out on top.

I'd love a blue set, but I'll probably just stick with whatever I get from my boxes, maybe a secondary-market base set if the price is right. Also, let me know if you decide to get 7. I could probably do that many, and we could agree to trade dupes. There's a chance we'd come pretty close to a base set that way on a single trade, and have our parallels left over to recoup original costs.

Haha, didn't see this. You could always go this route, Ted!
Just draw him a little T-206 wrapper card...
