I was actually seeing ben simmons getting better but extremely slow steps. Like turtle steps.
He was increasing minutes, reb, assists and steals per game in his first 6 games. Then he missed 4 straight games and went back to 0 all over again.
That's gonna frustrate everyone, from ben to the nets.

Talent and just raw physical ability were there. "Want to" was not.

It's insane to me how he can be that physically gifted with a size advantage over 90 percent of the league at the position, but he cannot leverage it at all on the scoring end. He should be backing down defenders for easy layups and dunks all night, every night.

He's only 26 so it could be another decade.

He has 2 more years on this contract.... I'd be surprised if another team signs him if he refuses to work on his shot. He doesn't care anymore. At least it looks that way.

And yet this somehow still pales in comparison to the insanity that is faking having a mental illness for a prolonged period of time. I guess that's an illness in itself.

His toxic approach to the game will have him blacklisted by most teams as his presence is cancerous. If he adjusts his attitude and efforts he could be a 6th man or deeper bench player, but needs to earn the role of a starter and become reliable which he's not capable of right now.

Talking about Ben or a number of other players? Fits a few other guys.

Yep! I never understood it. The 2015-2016 LSU team that he was on didn't even go to the NIT. They had Simmons, who went #1, and a several others who went pro. Playing in the weak SEC and still couldn't make it.

He's one of the players I root against no matter what team he will be on. Please don't join my Pistons. Also, stay away Harden, Westbrook, and Irving. Whoever gave him a contract extension should be fired for complete incompetence. He's a defense specialist at best and he gets paid Lebron money. NBA contracts are ridiculous. The best job in the world would be a 12th man on a bad team, since the job of being Ben Simmons is already taken

Thing is he was an All Star level player and All NBA defender with the Sixers.

Passed up the dunk over Trae Young, couldn't take the heat and skipped a full season, and now he seems completely broken.

I’d still trade Sexton for him if the Mitchell trade never happened

Ben Simmons making the peanut gallery in here look silly.

I hope this is more of what we can expect from him. Guarding Lillard too mind you.

BTW, if im nets coach, i'll put Irving from the bench at least 2 games.
Obviously he's a starter, but i want to see if ben simmons stats is affected by Irving having the ball excessively.
