If UD is holding up The Cup strictly because they can't get a KK sig then they have even more problems than we already know about.

For the record Jason Robertson isn’t signing either, all his redemption autos are held up. So it’s not just KK, for a product almost 3 years delayed I think getting a redemption would be the ultimate “f**k you” from UD.

I'm not really sure why ZB gets under your skin so much? He's harmless.

Yeah I can see that but meanwhile all the second and third tier rookies are virtually valueless. Who's gonna buy the product? And what will be the cost to the collector of the very limited singles on the market of the few RCs remaining with any value?

I get the feeling there are going to be a lot of big breakers that come out of this jaded. I do think UD is starting to walk a real fine tightrope where even the diehards are standing there going "hey, wth?"

Holding The Cup back actually drives up sales of the massively overproduced flagship series 1, 2 and Update.
The Cup has always been a high risk high reward product for bigger spenders but now that it is so delayed it is killing values on secondary players that are already looking like career minor-leaguers rather than true prospects.
It also happened to SPA this year. I typically always pick up a few boxes but not this time around while it's priced the way it is. Cheaper just to buy the cards I want. Can grab a JR FWA for less than the price of 2 boxes. Good luck gambling and getting anything remotely close to value.
YGs will always remain the #1 hockey RC because of this even though they are far from rare. Boxes are affordable to the average collector and it's much easier to justify throwing $100 down the tube for 6 scrubs and a canvas.

I’ll be opening one tin of the cup when it drops, I’m extremely interested in the product but the price is just too high to open multiples.

Thank you man, yeah I’ve been allergic to KK even with regular inserts for 22/23 so I’m hoping that changes with the risk, I’ve had some pretty bad boxes thankfully 21/22 and 22/23 products have been better for me but I’m gonna rolling a lot of prayers towards the tin when I get it LOL. Just reading that quad jersey makes shudder 😂
