Maybe you're suppose to put some lemon juice on it + heat Then it will reveal a secret message to a treasure.

I have a friend who has the theory that if you push on the logo button on the manufactured city connect relics, in some of them something will pop out of the top of the card.

I'll admit that I would be nervous throwing that out until the hidden gems are revealed.

Someone should take one of those blanks cards and xray it.

I've seen a couple of these now - has anyone tried Peeling them, Mystery-Finest Style?

I wonder how many were thrown out by people thinking they were filler cards like they have done in the past. That would be comical

A rip card inside the blanks would be Fanatical.

They're probably in the same case as the 2018 Allen & Ginter woods.

Stryker on Youtube pulled one of those blank foil cards in a Jumbo box and really had no clue what it was and kinda set it to the side.

I personally feel those cards do have something to do with the hidden gems but until Topps/Fanatics comes out and says one way or the other we just don't know. If anyone pulls one of those I'd for sure hang on to it.

They were also in 2022 update. My son thought it was cool and kept it.

There was at least one of them thrown away. By me. I've seen them before so I didn't think anything about chunking it. Hopefully that doesn't turn out to be a bad decision, although I think I'm fine.

Maybe it’s the missing silver pack that was not in my jumbo box from Topps (only recvd 1)

I've seen those blanks WAAAAY too often for them to be anything remotely close to as rare as the Hidden Gems are listed to be on the pack odds (not to mention the odds list them as per pack, not boxtoppers). It's fun speculation, but virtually 0% chance those blanks, that have been in previous products as well, have anything to do with the Hidden Gems insert set.

Sad to see people clinging on to hope that these are in packs.

Agreed. I pulled one from a bowman chrome mega box mojo pack this year. They're just another screw up by Topps and nothing more.

The estimated print run on these is 501 total. https://twitter.com/ToppsBb/status/1633281737626189825

Even with that being said, this product has been out long enough one of these should have shown up by now. Either they are too similar looking to an existing card or they simply weren't packed out. Neither of which are good.

Maybe, but it will probably just be an Ottendorf Cipher to another clue. Which will just lead you to another clue...

Well If anyone has any of those worthless blanks from 2023 Series 1 they want to get rid of I'll gladly pay shipping via PWE with a forever stamp on it. Worst case I'll use the for shipping cards.

There is a couple formats possibly not ripped yet. The new Super Mega WalMart boxes and possibly 1 or 2 blister pack formats.

But I think they were supposed to be hidden in Hobby.

0% chance those blanks are it. I didn't pull any from an actual pack. But I did find two floating loose in my boxes where the oversized card was. The foil card was also oversized. And there was no peel to it or any other distinguishing factors. I initially set them both aside, but later threw them away after close inspection and deciding there is literally nothing to them.

And I agree with the other person that said it - the foil cards have surfaced way too frequently to be hidden gems given the crazy odds those are said to have.
