When I got back into the hobby in 2010/2011, Brett Lawrie was one of the best names you could pull from a pack.

Jesus Montero was also big during that period.

It's a shame Justin Upton never became ARodv2 sans roids.

Hear he hangs out at some coffee shops in the neighborhood incognito now

I don't follow the baseball market. Is Joey Gallo one of the HOBBY DEAD?

I've still got his 2012 Bowman Chrome Draft Gold /50 (BGS 9.5) and his 2015 Topps Chrome Update RC (PSA 10).

I liked him when he was with the Rangers.

That's racist. Political thread incoming.

I'll say Jasson, Jackson & Jackson.

His cards won't be worth much, but I still think Lux will have a pretty good MLB career.

Could be wrong, but I think Nomo’s stuff still sells relatively well (compared to others with congruent stats)

Correct. Nomo stuff sells well. You'll be lucky to find an auto.

Pretty much every 00s shortstop you can think of faded away to bargain bin obscurity, including A-Rod.

Damn, come to think of it, aside from Jeter, is Scott Rolen and Adrian Beltre the only infielders, that aren't 1B,that came up in the late 90s to have HOF careers? So from 1995-2009. A-Rod and Cano are Roid users, who am I missing?

In Toronto, Brett Lawrie came out with his hair on fire. The Red Bull fueled machismo ended very abruptly, however.

I don't have a single one but sometimes, I am tempted to have a team match parallel for my PC to remind me of his 5 minutes of fame.

Should have been Troy Tulowitzki. We all know how that went.

Chase Utley probably won't make it, but he merits a mention.

I'm a Yankees fan and my Jesus Montero autographed baseball I purchased arrived on the day they traded him.

I remember pulling a 1993 Topps Gold David Neid from a pack in 4th grade. Listed at $10 in the monthly Beckett. Wow that was a great hit for me at the time…then he actually played in the 1993 season.

In 1994 I pulled a Die Cut 1994 SP Arod…I smartly traded it to a card shop around 1995/1996 for a mid grade copy of Amazing Spider-Man 141 having learned my lesson from David Nied.

Anyone still have their Toe Nash stashes?

His stuff still sells surprisingly well, I think.

I wasn’t here or in the hobby during the Andrew McCutcheon years, so I’m wondering how “hobby big” he was before he fell off the cliff?
