I think Fields has a higher ceiling than Hurts. Hurts is the better player right now but if I'm picking a team from scratch I'd roll the dice on Fields.

Here is the correct list

Josh Allen
Trevor Lawrence
CJ Stroud
Caleb Williams (and I don't even like the guy)
Justin Herbert
Lamar Jackson (you will never convince me he plays long term)
Joe Burrow (ditto)
Drake Maye
Jordan Love
Justin Fields

And yes... I know what I typed... This is a fantasy draft where zero other NFL players exist

You build a team around these guys. You aren't taking Brock Purdy, who is a good QB, in the Top 10 if every single other QB is available. I'll say the same as before... If Justin Fields is on the Niners and Purdy is on the Bears? Come on now. Same with a Jalen Hurts or Baker Mayfield

Those guys need guys around them

This is a 100%, pure talent and potential franchise level play, QB draft since 2018

If you understand the thread you know I am right

I appreciate your faith in Lawrence. I really do.

Feels like everyone else has relegated him to a fringe top 10 guy.

Blowout people

He's absolutely going Top 5 - and I'd say Top 3 (obviously) - if you were truly doing a fantasy draft from scratch with zero players on the roster except for the QB

No one is taking Jalen Hurts over Trevor Lawrence unless they want to be fired right away

The next ones outside the top 10: Jordan Love, Drake Maye, Tua, Justin Fields, Anthony Richardson, Jayden Daniels, Baker, Bryce Young

Don’t think I’m missing anyone

Lamar seems at least to me to have the inside track at first overall. 2 time MVP, and there’s no other MVP winners left I believe

Josh Allen and Burrow go 2 and 3. I give Allen the edge over Burrow even though Burrow has been to the Super Bowl mainly due to health. Burrow has had 2 of his 4 seasons ended via injury which is enough of a difference on the margin to give Allen the edge. If you switched them I would also totally get it

Then I think you’ve got the end of that top 3 which is a tier by itself. Herbert and Hurts is a personal preference, I would personally go Hurts 4 and Herbert 5 but people and front offices love Herbert’s tools that I think he goes over him. Stroud at 6 mainly because he’s had 1 season only. He looks incredible and wouldn’t shock me if he jumps higher next year, but only 1 year

I hate to say it but Purdy has to be top 10, I’m not a Purdy guy but he’s 60 minutes from winning a SB
LOL Murray and Williams top 10? LOL

No one on the planet that isn't a Packers fan is taking Love over Stroud to start a team. Come on now

Don't be stupid just to be stupid

Yeah because Love played better the Stroud last year with crappier WR's yep so stupid. Please stop eating paint chips not good for you.

I wish we could make this reality since 32 of 32 GM's would agree with me... and you'd hang your head in shame for all eternity

Alas it's all hypothetical

Caleb is absolutely top 10, also when you include he’s on a cheap contract. Because that certainly makes team building easier especially if you’re starting from scratch

Kyler probably a bit of a homer pick cuz I think he’s got a lot of talent, I understand his concerns but he’s got undeniable talent

I think Williams is over rated. He cares more about his brand then football and will be another Chicago Bears bust.

Stroud also did this as a rookie, Love is not a rookie. That growth from a first year showing what Stroud did is impressive. Not to mention Love is due for money soon contract wise

Okay and that’s your opinion. The NFL views him highly, as a consensus top pick for over a year now.

That said, he's still going #1 in the draft and would certainly go Top 10 in a scratch draft.

Now is where Blowout breaks down... and makes up their own thread that isn't talking about what this thread is about

I also think Williams is overrated. You state correctly that it is my opinion (just like Pack's opinion)

There is a 100% chance, not 99.9% chance, but 100% chance he's going Top 10 in this Fantasy Draft scenario

Maybe Top 5

Top 10? 100% chance

And there is also a 100% chance he goes before Jordan Love if we're being honest

But Pack won't like that

OP asked who is the top 10 QB's since 2018 not who is the best on a cheap rookie deal. Also IMO why you can't put in Williams since he has not even played a down yet he could be great or could be the next Josh Rosen at least have to see him play.

That isn't what he asked at all

He asked who the Top 10 picks would be in the NFL if no teams had any players and you were starting from scratch. No other players are on any teams. You have to draft 1,500 of them. Not who has been the best player since 2018

Reading is hard I know
