How much money would you need to get over the reputation for being someone who rips stuff from kid's hands?

Do we think the kid deserves a participation trophy for getting one hand on the ball now?

What reputation damage?

DO you know his name? will you remember tommrow?
No one is every talking about this outside of baseball fans and baseball has like one month left before it hibernates?

No one will know and no one will care. 50/50 is already OLD News.

This ball drops in price every HR Ohtani hits IMO.

He's 18, he's not a kid.

I still haven't seen a video that actually shows him with sole possession of the ball, all I see is the guy in black with it close to his body with the guy in red reaching in.

The $350,000 he was supposedly offered from the Dodgers sets me up nicely financially, debt free with a nice nest egg. Anything more than that is just the cherry on top. All for wrestling the ball away from (or holding on to a ball) another adult was trying to possess for a payday.

Absolutely agree on that! The dude who got it should have sold already, better sell soon, give the kid a chunk of change if he's a nice person...

Well, he didn't rip the ball from some poor helpless child. Let's quit acting like he stole candy from a baby.

My friends and family would be thrilled that I came away from the scrum of adults with a nice payday. Maybe get teased a little for chasing after a ball, but that's about it.

Unless there's a different video that shows something very different, I don't think most people would worry about it. Potentially 7 figures in play and the 'kid' is 18.

If I had a $500K ball in my hand in the middle of a dog pile and someone tries to take it from me then I am going to bite them. "Kid" needs to learn how to fight for what he believes is his.

After further review, the guy who came away with the ball was down by contact.

Red jersey kid is now out of challenges.

I'm kicking, biting, gouging eyes, using steel chairs and tuning up the band with sweet chin music as my finish to get that ball. Everyone can make all the fun they want, I'll wipe my tears with life changing money.

That "kid" played by the rules and lost.

Same thing happened with Bonds 73rd Ball. One guy initially had it, but it was wrestled away from him. There was a lawsuit. Both parties agreed to auction off the ball to split the proceeds, but the final price didn't even cover the lawyer fees, so neither party profited from the ball.

Forget ambulances, attorneys should chase baseballs instead!

But it isnt the same thing. No one wrestled anything away from anyone. Dude is on the ground clutching the ball, and other dude looks disappointed, puts his hand up thinking the dude will give him the ball and gets a high 5

Lol this “kid” is lame as f***. Holding out his limp wristed hand over and over again expecting someone to just give it to him. Lmao at the guy in the black shirt giving him a five the last time he did it.

Speaking of people like that, Zack Hemple caught Judge's 56th homerun two nights ago.

I couldn't find a gif for it but that kid needed to be the guy who caught Jordan Belfort's watch in Wolf of Wall Street

I went and watched dang near every video I could find of the incident. I cant find any angle that would suggest that the "kid" is the rightful owner of the ball. Just because you touched the mans ball, that does not make it yours.
