Hope everyone is having a great holiday. Release day is Jan 17th. If anyone's opened up any Terestal Festival, you've gotten a preview of how magnificent the cards are. Hopefully masterballs wont be as rare as they seem right now.

Maybe we shouldve done a 3rd... preorders are insane everywhere and i hear lots have been cancelled. Prices are the highest ever for etbs for any preorder set. Lets have a blast with this! 2 weeks and counting!

Thats the truth. So lets talk about this release, it's not like other releases. I need to figure out base lots and whether to separate rev holos, pokeball reverse holos and all holos out. Each masterball reverse holo will obviously each be a draftable spot. How do you all want to split it all out?

Traditionally i would probably just create 4 base lots per break that would include all normal reverse holos. Holos were generally draftable singles but im thinking smaller draftable lots. Should pokeball reverse holos be draftable singles?

Well we can create more than 4 base lots that include all reverse holos including pokeball reverse holos as well.

I will go with whatever the majority wants but i dont want to be stuck deciding things by break time. Some people are set collecting, some are just after the top hits, but obviously we dont want the draft to go on forever. But knowing what i need to sort and not sort will speed up the break and listing of spots

We have no idea the frequency of these pokeball reverse holos though. Bc there are normal reverse holos and reverse pokeball holos. Even if i dont create separate draft singles, maybe do separate LOTS of pokeball reverse holos per however many etbs.

If we only maybe get about 1 per etb we may need to think about it. But right now base lots will include all base, reverse holos, and normal holos. Okay so lets say 5 hits per etb box...thats already 100 spots. 20 promos, 20 etb contents, 10 base lots (2 etbs worth each), 4 code card lots we are looking at 154 draft slots

So based on videos already surfacing for etbs the sirs are super tough and as there are no regular illustration rares and pokeball reverse holos(textured) seem to be like 2 per box on avg i may make them separately draftable bc theyre going to relatively scarce. Regular holos i will keep in the base lots, but i will make more base lots than usual. So in Pokerev's video he got in his etb he got two ex and two pokeball…no masterball no sir's. Normal reverses in every pack.

There are god and demi-god packs apparently so there is still hope for plentiful hits

But for serious, be careful out there, people are crazy and this set is gonna be printed into oblivion, so if you dont catch it on day 1, keep checking bc this stuff will restock and restock. The videos of costco of people literally fighting over 151 product were insane.

We will still need to re-assess pokeball reverses. I think they might be 1:2 packs instead of 2 per etb. I hear hit rates in general are quite poor in this product so while i dont want a super long draft, i do want there to be plenty to draft. Base lots will include base, holos, reverse holos at the moment. Will probably do 10 base lots(2 etbs worth) and then 10 rev pokeball lots(presumably 8-9 per lot). That way if youre set collecting you're bound to grab a lot. Alternatively i could include them in base lots and do 20 base lots (1 per etb). Majority rules here. Probably gonna bw like 60 hits, 20 promos, 20 other etb content lots so most likely ~120 draft spots total per break.

2. 20 base lots including pokeballs and all non-hit cards.
