Yeah, he’s looked good in the G League and had some time to shine last night against the Wizards. Not sure if Yuki will have cards, but love that dude and the energy the crowds give him.

TBF, a lot of guys can probably shine against the Wizards. But Cam's got game. Can see him definitely staying in the league as a solid rotation piece for years to come.

Kaleidoscope and Fireworks look good, but Panini inserts don't do that great.

The base looks Meh.

Leading with Timmy to drive product is pretty funny.

So there’s this thing that happens when ideas from all the brands start melting together, so you can no longer tell if it’s a high end release, mid level release, or low end release. It means that there is nothing special or remarkable about any of the releases. So while Prizm should historically be a good release, I look at this and just think it looks ugly. The design is not clean at all. It looks like they put Prizm, Select, Spectra, and Mosaic all in a blender. Simplicity should be the goal here. Not junk.

Prizm has always been a middle tier product, but it's desirability from the masses have pushed the price of them to higher end prices. But make no mistake, this is a mid-tier product.

It seems like I say this weekly or at least monthly, but BO has hit a new low. $1000 preorder on Prizm basketball hobby. You read that right. They are setting presale for 2024-25 Prizm Basketball higher than 2023-24 Prizm Basketball is currently selling at. This was the exact same presale price that last years was when Wembanyama was red hot. Basketball in general is ice cold. This year's rookie class has had zero hype minus Dalton Knecht for a whole 5 days or so after his big game. Over or under they sell 0.5 boxes at that listed price of $1000 a box.

Just to put this into perspective 2022-23 has Paolo, Chet, and Jalen Williams. They all have autographs in it. Hobby is currently around $625. If you're going to argue 2 of them are hurt, it was still only $650-$675 before the injuries. 2021-22 has Cade, Jalen Green, Sengun, Scottie Barnes, and Franz Wagner. 21-22 Prizm hobby is currently $550 a box.

Every single one of these prospects are more touted than any single player in the 2024-25 class. Every single one of those players also has autographs in Prizm. A ton of the top 10 best 2024-25 prospects will not have autographs. This company, BO, is an absolute joke. Although to be fair I don't think they can drop presale lower than what they did on NT WWE hobby. The pieces of garbage set presale at an absurd $1500 on that and like a week later put it down over 50% to $725. Regardless, there is no reason for Prizm hobby to be above $600 a box. But the companies that get it for cost have no real incentive to sell product. Virtually every single 2024-25 basketball hobby product should be MSRP or barely above.

Opened a few blasters today. The last card in every pack was labeled "prizm" on back but was very much a base card. Has anyone else encountered this???

I find it funny. Last year, I never saw Prizm basketball on the shelf at 3 separate Target shows near me. My last three trips recently. Dozens of blasters, 6-8 megas, full row of fat packs for this year prizm. This stuff is going to have to go on sale to clear the shelves.

It's already discounted. You can get a retail and fat pack box for 200.

The problem is, there's still room for Hobby to fall. So Retail should fall even more. 22-23 blasters are around 20 bucks a piece, even with more numbered cards, this should be at least that cheap.
