No idea how SP'ed the parallel is(10 sold, 4 listed on COMC, plus ePack)...but awful tempting to go out and pick up anyone else I'd like to hold/display.

White Rainbow Beyond of Black Cat
Thanks for putting this parallel on our radars. I bought a bunch on COmC and have just elited some. Will slab the ones that look like they will 9 or 10.

Yea count me in the camp that didn’t know such nice looking cards exist in Beginnings. That White Rainbow is awesome, orion.

Missed this comment, but you certainly aren’t wrong. Someone else brought this to my attention before, but this Trek movie poster had to be the inspiration for the 94FUXM Fatal Attractions

Seems the few I've scanned as elite have L/R issues but are pretty clean beyond that. That's only from sending 4 or 5 though. Was thinking of grading a few myself...maybe I just got unlucky

They are as good looking as any parallel I've seen in quite some time. On par with the Kaleidoscopes from MM '92 set, maybe even a little nicer(but also quite a bit cheaper). Funny enough, I also have some of the /10 artist autos from the set, but with only one in hand(Blade)...they are NOT nearly as shiny as the beyonds. Weird, because they're refractor type cards as well. Have a Black Cat /10 Auto on the way...will scan it up next to the white rainbow and post the resutls, though I think I already know how it'll turn out(White Rainbow just looks nicer...but is missing the numbering and Wolfman auto I wanted!).

Post it up when it gets there! See how it compares to the White Rainbow. Awesome character in Black Cat to have it on

Picked these up at the Philly Non Sports Card Show on Sunday. Really like how Ted captured Sam and Diane's energy. Easily my favorite pick up of the year so far; will be a tough one to beat. Thanks Ted!

25 years in the making! Very nice

Interesting - haven't seen any in hand myself, but they look pretty cool. Silver Surfer isn't on the base checklist unfortunately, but he would've looked perfect on one of those.

Wow, yeah that had to be a direct homage. Those older illustrators from the 60's/70's had a distinct style that I really love.

Thanks - the artist did a great job on that one, for sure.

I also recently picked up a John Buscema auto from the 1998 Silver Age set:

Wow awesome pickup- that’s a keeper!

Always thought after a lot of the clutter of Marvel cards blends together in say 10 or 25 years down the road…cards like this will always stand out. Anything with the Marvel comic legends.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I'm a huge fan of all of those early comic book artists/writers. Most of them were old-school New York guys who wanted to do more than just comic book stuff, but I guess the money was too good to pass up.

Big John was a legend. Love this clip of him and Stan Lee giving tips on how to be a better inker:

Below are a few elite scans of White Rainbow Beyond cards I recently picked up off of COMC. Some have the normal UD QC issues but I might slab one or two.

Someone just dumped a bunch of old Breygent Movie Poster oversized sketch cards on COMC for cheap and I picked up a few cool ones that caught my eye…

Elite (and even more so in person) scans seem like night and day compared to the normal comc scan for the white rainbows

Finally finished this set, the Iceman took forever to find but just came up a few days ago. These are the 94 Fleer Ultra X-Men Triptychs in sealed comic packs. Judging by the prices this sort of stuff goes for (low), I think I’m the only one in the hobby who cares about promos/cards in vintage sealed packaging, haha. Set of 6-

Keep in mind there are two different similarly named parallels in this set… 1) White Rainbows and 2) White Rainbows Beyond. These are the beyond versions. Kind of like how you used to walk into Bed, Bath, and Beyond and it wasn’t until you got to the Beyond section that things got interesting.

Ah just noticed that. Even just looking at the Beyond White Rainbows…still night and day between the scans!

I like the image they used for MODOK.

Nice pickups - that issue with Mister Sinister and Beast on the cover has the first appearance of Threnody. Not really that valuable, but still a cool book.

I remember those packaged books were kind of controversial at the time. Marvel had bought a distributor and then dumped a lot of these collected editions of loose comics on the market.

I also picked up and elited a bunch of FUMS acetates for cheap. Very vibrant colors!

Some of my favorite sketch artists on those.
Pence and Engstrom are great, and rest in peace, Chris Henderson.

Yup...same as the ones I scanned. With PSA's new centering rules, it makes it super easy to pass on stuff that's not 55/45. That cuts out of TONS of potential cards I would have normally sent when it was 60/40. Fine by me. Probably should have been 55/45 all along for a 10 AND I get to saved $23 a pop . Cool cards though! One of my favorite new parallels.

Some more elite scans came back today and you are right centering will be an issue on these. I will buy the bulk scan cards on COMc if they are cheap but too much of a risk to pay more than a few dollars if you can’t see the exact card you are getting.

Got some cool slabs back today.

I love this Peanuts set. Cards with foreign text always intrigue me. No one captures melancholy like Charles Schulz.

And I am a sucker for acetate cards. Upper Deck did a great job with its Marvel Annual Pack Wars weekly achievement cards. Happy to get 10’s on these two…

Nice.
Here are the iconic covers that originally featured that art.

These aren't mine, unfortunately.
I do have a really nice #101, but never did get the Giant Size.

Yeah, those are cool covers. That Wolvie acetate looks great.

Picked up a couple Superman sketches recently:

That Charlie Brown card is pretty funny.

che vergogna = what a shame

I'm gonna start using that in real life.
