I'm kind of surprised Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill, Natalie Portman, Ray Park & Samuel L Jackson are in it ... tons of andor and acolyte autos including Carrie-Ann Moss & Manny Jacinto.

They also have McGregor & Christensen. Pretty crazy checklist though I'm sure the big names are super limited.

This sounds like it could be on the 2024 Heritage design.

Also, what was the presale price?

They used the design last year for a month of Throwback Thursday sets.
These were on flat, vintage-style stock.

New ones in chrome, in various colors, with an autographed version sound pretty cool.

Huh, this would be the first time a historic baseball design was used in a star wars packed out set?

Seems odd to call it 1975 tribute.

Couldn't believe how fast the Hobby cases were gone. I was on right at 11 and had it in my cart and by the time I went to check out they were gone. Bummer.

Yeah, same here. That is a bummer. Must have had an extremely limited number of cases for sale or the bots just hammered down on them.

140 and 1040.

Very large autograph list. The odds link was broken, so I don't know how many of the bigger signers are packed out.

Big names are mostly /25 and less for this kind of product. Most cases of 24 Chrome had like one medium-high auto, couple decent autos, and 5 lower level "filler" auto.

This years checklist has 200 base cards compared to 24's 150 so prob 25% more product printed?

Just checked this morning and blasters are now marked as "sold out" at topps. Haven't been checking regularly so not sure when it happened.

right. Some of the biggest names like Ford, Hamil, Portman may only be on something that is to /5 or on a 1/1 triple auto or something. Still a big list of autos. As you said, print run is likely increased. Going to be tough to pull the 10-12 autos you really want and can justify the price tag. I am looking forward to a ton more hitting the singles market and driving prices down more.

I assume they are very low print run but as to "on a 1/1 triple auto or something" the checklist seems to indicate otherwise:

A-HF Harrison Ford Han Solo
TV-HF Harrison Ford Han Solo

A-MH Mark Hamill Luke Skywalker
TV-MH Mark Hamill Luke Skywalker

A-NP Natalie Portman Padmé Amidala
TV-NP Natalie Portman Padmé Amidala

Some other other big names appear in those two lists as well as on triples:
TA-HES Hayden Christensen Anakin Skywalker
TA-HES Samuel L. Jackson Mace Windu
TA-HES Ewan McGregor Obi-Wan Kenobi

I'm sure they're all short printed but this is unlikely to be a 1/1 or 1/1 trio auto situation ....

I am coming from Baseball which I still collect but has been getting ridiculous with prices. Was able to grab a case for 1k at preorder, not sure what to expect but will be excited to open something new. Baseball Topps Chrome is almost 3 times that price lol

I have seen some hobby box pre-sales north of $300 now with the product coming out Wednesday. With the pre-order at $140 I don't think I could stomach more than $180-$200/box. I hope the LCS has it at a fair price.

$200 for these is 95% guaranteed pain.

What is the biggest price jump from pre-order to gen onsale for Topps? For SW, I don't recall anything in the last few years that was more than $20 jump. Like can it be significant with baseball products?

Antiquities was $1500 for a dozen people on Topps and then straight to secondary market. I'm talking about Topps site pre-order, Topps site general onsale.

Afaik Antiquities was closer to 1k for many breakers getting it directly, and peaked at around ~6.5k net to the breaker with the breaker's fractional sales.

Yup. Buy it at $300, resell it for more, use the profit to "buy" the cards you actually want for free.
