Sam Darnold is barely relevant after winning the Super Bowl this year. Tells me all I need to know about Watson, even before factoring in the human trash aspect.

I think that's the comparison being made. Both are toast and not relevant.

Even if Watson had a monster comeback I can't see collectors excited to collect him.
I'll add and layer in that the reason I think he won't ever be hobby relevant is his history of injuries and missing time will always factor into any potential money going towards him. Buy cards of a busted up QB who is playing good now but in the past has been more bad than good or put that money into someone like Mahomes who is one of the greats and is just in a bit of a downturn?

That has to be one of the worst contracts signed in professional sports.
The Browns are hoping to get some cap relief in the form of an insurance policy they signed for Watson. That could help a lot with his 2027 dead money.

That aside, I cannot imagine any circumstances whatsoever whereby any team takes on his salary. Cleveland would have to do something like "We will give you Watson plus 2 first rounders for a 7th rounder".

Agreed on the rest. Maybe Tyrod is washed at this point though but sure.
You quoted my post, but apparently didn't read it. I am saying no team wants to deal with the shatshow that will come with signing Watson the pervert.

"And just like Kap. Most GM's will avoid Watson, to avoid the circus train that would follow."

Kap was a gifted QB who GM's avoided due to his other antics. Kap now, blows. Kap in 2016 did not blow. But he wasn't worth the headache either.

According to all the Patriots haters, that means Cleveland is going to the Super Bowl.

Doesn't mean that at all, but with an improved team and easy schedule, they win more games than recent years. Ill also bet that with a big boy schedule this season, Patriots don't make it to the playoffs.

Only if he becomes what the Rock and other athletes have attained as actors. My dear Watson doesn’t even act as a football player anymore.
