I'm getting autographs for $3-4 each, some of the better names are in the $15-20 range. I've got a couple I'm sticking away long-term. Think about getting Longoria and Braun's autos for $15-20.

3-4 years from now, some of these are going to be $100 autos.

If you want them authenticated/graded for free.

You can still do so by yourself after the deadline, but you'll have to pay.

And considering how these fall about 1:4 cases, the value of Draft definitely doesn't hinge on AFLAC autos.

I didn't pre-order any because I thought the pre-sale price was too high and would drop after release (I even posted as much on here) so I went ahead and picked up a case today.

At these prices, maybe someone can bribe houdini into another 10 caser!

Damn, gonna have to think about a case, that is a great price.

This is looking a lot like last year, came out price dipped, and then around January the prices started to go back up again and steadily increased till they hit about where they are now.

I think he was planning on doing another. At least I think that is what he said in the second break during the last few cases.

actually 2010 spiked to $950/case or so (blowout price) last spring and has gradually dropped since.

3 years (redemption window) should be plenty long enough for this product to get where it's ultimately going. if it stays around $600/case it will completely dry up in less than 3 months.

Grabbed the last two, I am done ripping so I guess I will hold on to these for a while. Really limited risk at this price point.

Oh, could have sworn that there was a little drop after release and then the big jump, but you are probably right, I get confused easily.

I personally don't see this a big surprise for a couple of reasons.

1. The market is SOFT for re-sell, and auto prices have dropped 20-50% in many cases

2. MANY of the BIG BIG cards have already been pulled. I am amazed at how many of the big superfractor autos and red refractor autos are long gone.

Just some food for thought

it did drop after release, then went up in spring. then started back down after 2011 bowman came out.

I don't know man...I've been deal-stalking eBay for a week now and stuff just doesn't seem to be coming down in price. Yeah, the Starlings, Bundys, and Bauers are settling to more fair value, but everything else seems to be selling at or better than release week prices. I sold all my autos within 3 days of release and most of them I could have sold significantly higher if I had listed them this week. Player lots are going up too.

At the same time, Starling is down 40%, Baez is down 40%, etc. My point is that cases are down 10%, but the contents of the cases are down more than 10%, so it is NOT surprising. Along with the fact that probably 50%+ of the top 40 cards have all been pulled.

I would shoot them an email I bet they can/will find more if they are selling. Good Luck.

Agreed that a surprisingly large number of big name supers and reds have already been pulled. The Starling super is still out there (redemption) from what I can recall. Do you see the inclusion of the /10 purples as something that may help to keep demand from dropping too far since those that missed out on the reds will still have a low print run card to chase?

I picked up 2 cases today. Absolutely zero intent of busting them. Will see what happens over the winter. At worst, you sell these at what, a 10% loss?
