Awesome stuff man, I just got Dawson back too on a ROMLB previously signed by Wade Boggs. He left off the HOF inscription though :-/ #firstworldproblems

TTM Successes:

Ted Lindsay 2/1 in 14 days. Signed my puck and also included a signed pamphlet about his life and foundation. Apparently my postage was about 59 cents short on both ends so it looks like he covered it. I would imagine most would refuse it so that was very nice of him. As a thanks I plan to send another small donation to him for his foundation. Super great guy!

Goose Gossage 1/1 in 23 days

Nah, I actually always send cash for my donations and just make a note in my letter that I have included a $15 cash donation as a thank you for considering my request. Haven't had any problems with doing that and I've sent about 6 or 7 out that way and gotten the auto

From what I can tell, Lindsay is automatic. Seems like a great guy. I sent $10 for his foundation. He writes a thank you letter to some people but I didn't get one lol maybe his thank you to me was covering my postage

Haha yea could be, I always view them keeping the pen/sharpie as the thank you and my peace offering. ;-)

TTM Successes:

Pat Neshek 3/3 in 8 days. Didn't add the inscriptions I asked for, but still a great guy and signer!

Bobby Doerr 1/1 in 11 days. Personalized and added HOF date.. Looks to me like his signature is looking like he struggles so I really appreciate that he still makes the effort to sign for fans.

Shea Weber 1/1 Personalized in 24 days

Mike Fisher 1/1 Personalized in 24 days

Thanks! It is a Rawlings ROLB1. Some say those aren't good for auto's and that they will fade over time. My honest opinion is that they are fine.. They're genuine leather and just a small step below the quality of a ROMLB ball. I umpire HS and college baseball and have kept (shhh don't tell anyone) baseballs from some of my first games such as first varsity game, first college game, first D-1, etc. and have written dates and what they were and stuff on them. Some of them are a similar ball to the ROLB1 and the ink on those is still fine 5 years later. I have just started getting autos on the ROLB1's so I guess time will tell but I think they'll be fine. I honestly think people confuse them with CROLB (which I guarantee will fade because it's a synthetic material) and even the ROLB2 or ROLB3 might fade because it's less quality leather but I think the ROLB1 are safe and quality genuine leather, but again I suppose time will tell. I don't have any worries about the risk.

I use ROMLB for players I really really like (such as when I got Johnny Bench, Pete Rose, Joe Morgan, etc.) And to help keep costs down I use the ROLB1 for guys who are still greats but not necessarily my favorites of all time. A ROMLB is about $12-15 and a ROLB1 is $3.75, do the math lol. They are strictly for my PC and I don't have any plans to sell them so I'm not worried about the value being potentially less because it's not on an actual official game ball.

I wish we had them here in Louisville so I wouldn't have to drive haha but they seem to have them pretty regularly in Indianapolis and Cincinnati which are each about 2 hours from here so it's not too bad.

Congrats on getting Rose and Morgan, it's a big undertaking but you'll feel great once you finally complete your great eight project!

Thanks! I almost decided to just buy some of them or mail them in to signings but I thought it'd be much more cool in the end to have a pic with all 8 and actually meet them.
