Has anybody ever seen one of the 2001 Topps Lew Alcindor Proof Autographs? What are they?

I seem to recall asking him to put his jersey number and he didn't.

Yeah. I hear he's pretty particular. My buddy saw him at the Disney music hall asked him to take a picture with him and he declined. But.... He gave him an autographed card from his pocket. Lol. Which I thought was pretty cool.

Default Full Name Auto

I know this thread is dated but just got this back from PSA/DNA. Didn’t realize that Kareem stopped signing his full name until doing some research. Does that make this example rare?

I’m guessing here..think his full name is Harold so Hal is a nickname but then only the first name should be in quotes

I feel like he signed his full name on a Topps rookie reprint auto insert

Hal Greer died but his brother was drowning in debt and they looked similar so his bro stole his identity in 1998. That’s why all the autos after ‘98 are in quotations

I assume at least

If any of you are going to the National he's signing with the option to buy an inscription ticket for the "Kareem". For the price:value you'd be a fool to not pay the $65.
