Default Jim Thome: what are his best cards?

I corrected the Chipper mistake as you were typing. I also left out Carlos Delgado (if he has any hobby life left at all).

I intentionally didn’t group Chipper Chipper with Thome and Pedro because he has the ‘91 Desert Shield. Then I made blundered my reference to the card. Where’s my coffee?!

And... Ha! Yeah, this a 5-year-old thread. Well, it’s worth discussing anyway.

I haven’t kept tabs on ’92 Bowman in a long time, but it appears to have lost its luster. Why? Did a distributor flood the market with cases that had been sitting in a warehouse for years? I always thought it was held in high regard, but apparently times have changed. I understand why Piazza’s ‘92 Fleer is a bigger card, but otherwise, this is the best set from the first couple years of the 1990s. There’s more to it than just being home to Mariano’s rookie.
