HEALTH!

This is going to be some kind of even year.

I wouldn't all TOO excited because this is still Milwaukee we're talking about here; likely to have a bottom five staff in baseball.

But the line-up is strong; and the bullpen is strong, and the rotation can be a strength if guys like Cueto and Shark can find a way to mojo town. But on the same breath, injuries and poor starting pitching can turn this team into a .500 team overnight.

The question is will TOPPS NOW release a back to back to back jack card for tomorrow?

Someone asked if they will consider recommendations for cards and they said yes - use hashtag #ToppsNOW

Span is the first Giants player to have 4 RBIs on opening day since Matt Duffy earlier today

maybe should request an "Ariel Pena the first reliever in Major League history to surrender three home runs on Opening Day," card instead.

I'm enjoying watching Greinke get knocked around. He's going to find pitching in AZ is a little different than LA.

One of my favorite things about yesterday's game was not tensing up with every ball hit to centerfield. Span in center and Pagan in left is such an upgrade.

I wasn't home to watch tonight's game, but it must have been exciting if one of the video highlights is "Announcers Comment on Sausage Race." ha ha.

At least I get to watch most of the ninth inning, maybe Brewers can tie it up and I can watch 9 extra innings.

Cueto looked great tonight. Put the ball wherever he wanted to it seemed, zone was a little tight.

Ballgame. Good game tonight, don't always need an offensive explosion when you get pitching like that. Romo and Casilla looked good as well, Casilla throwing a little harder than what I remember.

I watched Cuetos highlight reel from the game, looked entertaining.

I guess the Giants knocked Ariel Pena out of the bigs the other night - Brewers Acquire Sam Freeman From Rangers, Designate Ariel Pena For Assignment

Denard Span is out with the flu, Blanco batting 9th and playing center. Angel Pagan in lead off started things with a double, eventually came around to score.
Giants nabbed a run to start the game, but then Buster Posey thought he was Billy Hamilton tagging up on a shallow pop up, thrown out at home to end the inning.

Jeff Samardzija walks first batter as a Giant in the regular season. Second batter gets a single, third batter single, the game is tied 1-1.

Whew, only the one run, Samardzija and Posey went to work together and got through it, and that is Samardzija's first inning as a Giant during the season, hope it is the start of a Giants help him realize his ace potential narrative for the season.

First Giants batter wanted the lead back, so he took it, Matt Duffy HR!

Seems like every other batter that comes up the announcers go: "another hitter who has ownage on Samardzija," heh. Also supposedly a tight strike zone/ hitter's umpire today, second inning already turning into a lot more work ahhhh

worked out with only one run again, eh, it's entertaining

Ugh, if he keeps his ERA under 9.00 today I'll be amazed.
