yet, first 4 cases, I got more flag minis then all others combined plus the ssp minis feel often

but then next 10 cases, not 1 ssp mini, and some cases had as few as ONE flag mini
the pack out is so funky on the minis

last year I stopped opening after 24 cases if some of you recall because my cases had 0 of any of the hits that were 1:2 - 1:5 cases, yet others were opening and hitting 3-4 of the 1:5 case things like auto patch books
so I stopped b/c others who bought from my same su=ource also reported NOT getting any of those items either

also all my cases had non-bb autos thru the first 16-17 cases last yera, was odd

now we are seeing the "make believe" relics that are /25 and tough fall 3 per case for some? and minis out of whack, hmmmm

also, mostly seeing baseball autos this year, common rc mostly, and once again no auto booklets yet

i've collected ginter since 2007. each year they throw more gimmick items in to make it more interesting. gotta say the first few days of sales are fun to watch. not sure about the chances of investment return

The first case of cards I ever bought was A&G the first year it came out. Man that was a fun break and think I doubled the cost of the case selling the cards and I kept quite a few of them.

I think this years seems better than last two years.

I bought a lot of 3 of the flag minis for $8 just because I happen to have been to all three of those countries that were in the lot. Or at least what once was those countries.

Right. Black #/25 sold for $150 earlier today. Oh well, makes me feel better about missing out on the Buehler from last night.

This may go down in history as the most memorable Ginter release ever. Between the surprises, packout errors, loaded cases, and all the speculation about mini odds...I just think this release is looking like a home run right now and I'm so happy because it feels like Ginter is BACK.

Was going to pass this year but looking like a fun rip again, Blowout has cases at $1,140 - too steep?

I won't disagree with my good friend Jamie but I have to disagree, haha
sorry

The first year was just WOW, other years had amazing auto lineups I mean early years with HOF sports people, but then in the 2011-2013 run of amazing HOF bb autos (there were more $100-$500 autos coming from cases then just about any product I recall opening, not ultra high end, was that 2011, or 2012?)
and of course surprises each year and ginter code, etc etc
PLUS the 1/1 glossy hidden lid cards

those years had serious buzz and excitement

there were some down years though especially last 2000s

this year looks to be nice, it's early to know just yet
but there are a lot of HOF for sure, and top rc
hopefully the non-bb autos get some buzz
and hopefully it breaks well

Well you are right about 50% of the time so there's a 50/50 chance that I'm right this time

just saying, easy to forget past releases that were huge
a lot of folks jumped ship on ginter when they took out the retired guys and the 10th anniversary was a little flat
so yes, agree, recent years it was not the brightest

but the years of ginter codes, and surprises in packs, lids...superior BY FAR auto checklists both bb and non
(I love to reminisce over some of those past checklists, 2011-2012 were still IMO the best autos I have hit or collected from a product like this; and I really miss the days of autos from the likes of tyson, serena, federer, hogan, rocky, etc etc etc, but yes this year has some good ones too I'm sure)

Mattingly Framed auto #/25
Jackie Robinson Framed bat relic
Benjamin Geaux-Homme Unannounced Mini

Pretty pleased

people opening ginter that no little about ginter or who is in it, I guess

some of those mini rip and autos yesterday were mind-blowingly low for sure

sometimes the non-bb autos do well first day then crash hard, there were many that fell below $10 fast last year, I was stuck with a bunch from ginter and ginter x

this year, overall, seems to be better, but sometimes autos get over-estimated as well as under
