I'm guessing part of the reason for the price ceiling is there's no real playoff race in the AL West. His performance goes unappreciated since Houston is expected to win and his performance is not truly required for Houston to succeed in the eyes of the hobby. If Houston was behind in the standings and climbing their way back into contention or neck-n-neck like the NL Central then I'm guessing he would have more hobby love.

I'll predict if Houston doesn't make the WS that all Houston cards will lose value, not because of a player's performance, but underachieving as a team.

Just because the AL ROY doesn’t have RC logo cards doesn’t mean he can’t be PUMPED! He don’t belong on page 2!

He just needs to stop fouling balls off his leg. Thought for sure he was done the way he went down...still was able to finish the at bat and shoot a 400ft sac fly to center.

I’m sorry but I have to get this off my chest. The damn Astros are making such a mistake by not teaching this guy first base. He’s already had to be held out of the lineup many times due to being tired from playing the outfield. He’s a big guy, just make him a first baseman and reap the benefits. I agree he should be taught the position, but it won’t happen until at least next year. Current barrier is Yuli. He plays a solid first base and there’s no room for him at any other INF position. The way Yuli’s been raking, you can’t take him out of the lineup either....great problem to have I guess.

Yuli would play 3rd, Bergman SS, Altuve 2nd, and Yordan 1st. Yuli Gurriel has played 3rd when the Astros started Tyler White.

When was the last time there was a ROY that had rookie cards the next year? Trout had cards in 2011 but ROY award the next year.
