Can't fire the players so Chili is the scapegoat. If I were Luis Rojas, I better hope these guys breakout soon.

I know some of my fellow Mets fans are clamoring for Wally Backman but thats never gonna happen.

Chili had clearly lost the players trust. Same thing that happened in Chicago for him. I'm not saying the players didn't like him but I think he was messing with their swings too much. I think that's what Donnie Stevenson is. The players pulling a mutiny on him and doing their own thing.

I really want to see Alonso get his average over .300 again this season and keep it around that mark. I think right now having him turn and burn can keep them in games while Lindor and Dom figure it out and start producing again. I cant believe Lindor just up and signs a 1/3 of a billion dollar contract and magically forgets how to hit, it has to turn around.

Ugh, really hope it's nothing too serious. Seems like the injury bug is going around early this season (and not just for the Mets)

This really isn’t looking good for DeGrom. Hopefully it’s not his oblique.

Ya know, if I were Lindor about now and was in danger of getting zero hits in a month, I'd take a deep breath, open up the bank account, and look at the two direct deposits that hit my account in April.

Then I'd laugh my ass off.

Lindor error (which would’ve ended the inning) just turned into a 2-run homer. Sad stuff.

Didn't seem like a bad decision. Nimmo's hurt, they need to get Lindor going, and he primarily batted leadoff in Cleveland.

Peterson seems to have at least one bad inning in each start...sometimes he limits damage and other times the wheels come off completely ...like now

That was the equivalent of Homer making up the name Joey Joe Joe Jr Shabadoo.....except he was actually in the bar.

4-2 Mets win... pretty much all the offense was McNeil & Lindor ....4 wins in a row....The racoon vs rat saga is going the way of Donnie Diesel...go for the sweep

Hate to see DeGrom not at 100%. Hopefully he recovers quickly.
