Bears are cursed. Fields might be better off on another team. He is talented, not sure if Chicago is the place to get it out of him.

Fields like most QBs drafted need time to sit and develop. They start as rookies they are not ready to start they struggle and don't develop as they should because they learn on the fly playing on bad teams that lack talent. Plus Fields went to one of the worst teams in the NFL at developing QB's. Sid Luckman is the last good QB the Bears developed.

Grid, Luckman is the Bears all time Greatest quarterback, no debate.
You are having the wrong debate. The question posted was "best season for a bears QB"

I posted the best season, in wins and dominance, as McMahon. 4-0 preseason. 11-0 regular season. 3-0 post season.

I then posted the best QB performance in a season, with Mitch correctly having a higher rating than Luckman.

No where was I debating that either were better than Luckman. This was a "season" chat. And not a legacy one.

I thought the same thing with Mitch. That the coaches just couldn't get the best out of him, or Chicago just couldn't develop a QB. Then Mitch goes to Pittsburgh, and craps the bed as a 5 year Vet.

Will the Bears get anything for trading Fields next year when they have 2 top 5 picks?

It’s a good thing Jordan Love is such a calm, collected guy. As the new owner of the Chicago Bears, he can’t be happy with the team’s performance thus far.

He’s worth maybe a little more than what the 49ers got for Lance.

To be honest right now I don't think Chicago could get more then a 4th for Fields which the Dallas Cowboys gave up for Lance. If Chicago does not pick up 5th year on Fields means he is going to be a UFA after 2024 and his value will be low going into last year of deal.

At least with Lance you saw some capable football played.

We are not seeing that with Fields.

Not feeling very smart given I have a Fields card on it's way to PSA.. probably will be worth a nickel by the time I get it back.

Well he just took an elbow to the head, so maybe that will mercifully end his day.

Six rushes in a garbage time drive. If this kid had any heart, he’d be focused on throwing the ball if the team is going to keep him in there.

DJ Moore motioned to the sideline telling the coaching staff/medical team remove Justin Fields from the game.

He done, it's over.

My advice to Chicago Bears fans and Fields investors smoke em if you got em

There was no way this game was going to be competitive but man this was an ugly loss. 34-0 at halftime. I hope Poles channeling his inner Sam Hinkie and not his inner Matt Millen. Looking like Fields and Eberflus gone by 2024.

Pryor/Patterson this man into the backfield asap. He's clearly playing the wrong position.
