since HTAs got brought up does the designation signify anything anymore? If not why do certain products carry the label in listings? And if so, how greatly does the pack out vary by region? Apologies if it's a dumb question.

Not really sure what they are supposed to do. If anything its on topps for pumping so many cases through one B&M location.

I was there today - that photo is misleading. The store pre-packed boxes into bags and lined them up at the front desk. That looks to be how they transported them around the store.

They had an orderly line out front, had to show ID to get in line, got called in, able to purchase 4 and then back out. I’m sure some folks had people line up for them, but there definitely weren’t people walking away with dozens of boxes.

As a collector who lives and works in NYC this scene was bothersome and not a pleasant experience today. I don't begrudge anyone from making a couple of bucks. The person before me in line needed an interpreter and "someone to guide them in making the purchase." Didn't cut any sway with the MLB store employee who to his credit asked that other person to stand off the line.

Boxes finally came from the call back order. Got destroyed even at $75 per box. Adley base logo nicely centered was probably the best hit. Yellow FS Jung and base Gunnar OC. Acuna base logo for the buyback and that was it. Nothing from the base packs. Waldichuk does not belong on this checklist. Of course, pulled two Goldschmidt parallels this year. Caution do not, DO NOT buy boxes at the secondary prices.

Definitely getting weird at this point there’s no public drop but pumping case after case through mlb store. I’ve been at the ready every day for 2 weeks now at 8 and 9 PST waiting for the drop but nada.

I saw on the Dave and adams site that they were buying boxes at $125/ea, so that’s where they come from, People who don’t want to deal with eBay holding their money… I’ve dealt with a dozen brand new eBay accounts selling logofractor boxes.. they are the one I send offers to since they are clearly just trying to flip & dip.. I’ve bought over 30 boxes & the most I pay is $125-127…yeah, if you get 4 boxes it’s possible to miss as you’ve seen others say on here, but going through 8-12 boxes it seems impossible to not hit SOMETHING.. CLEARLY the lack of info from topps & the 0% chance of buying any outside of NY at retail are disheartening to say the least, with a little bit of work you can get in where you fit in with this product & still do okay… Gunnar base cards are still selling at $40+, most base cards will bring around $5 AT THE LEAST, life could be worse..

I would buy as well. I hit 2 autos in 4 boxes. Boxes are a fun rip. QC isn’t as good as regular Topps Chrome this year. Lots of OC cards .
