Essentials and XR (along with Marquee and Recon) are somewhere in the middle. The bottom would be things like Threads, Prestige, base Panini, and the other paper sets. IMO Playbook is by far the worst set in the whole product.

Certain family members of Zion Williamson want to see him on another team, sources tell The Athletic. The New Orleans Pelicans have missed the playoffs in each of Williamson's first two seasons in the NBA and the team will have a third head coach three years.

Sources from around the league have "pointed to the Pelicans as a heap of dysfunction."

Williamson's family has expressed thinly veiled unhappiness with the Pelicans and there are questions whether those have become his own. Williamson's family members voiced displeasure with Stan Van Gundy, who they thought was too rigid and demanding as head coach. They also felt like the organization did not live up to the standard for a star like Williamson.

Williamson remains focused on basketball and helping the Pelicans win next season.

Williamson was also irritated by the decision to trade J.J. Redick.

I wasn't sure where to post this that I saw in one of the FB card groups I'm in. I thought it was interesting. I wonder how many other players keep cards like this? Were these redemptions? One that's out of circulation now.

He's got 2 years plus a qualifying offer at the least, and I doubt he's turning down the $200 million max extension for that. All a bunch of nothing right now.

Star rookie, anyway (I'm sure that's what you meant). It would be unprecedented for a guy on his first contract to force his way out. Like it or not there's a high probability this is all just noise right now.

I would like to see him in LA. Logistically impossible but lebron in the twighlight of his career with the future of the league on his team would make for great TV.

Side note I Had to run to the walmarts today. Stopped by the card isle... surprise no cards. But they did have these cool mini figures of zion lebron curry and doncic. I almost bought the zion... decided against of it since imo starting lineups from yesteryear are not worth that much... and these where not SL.

Hopefully Luka is the first. Zion can follow him. Both are playing for clown organizations, and need to be elsewhere so they can be the faces of the NBA for the next 15 years.

i got one of those. think it could be a really nice steal if it comes in as good as it looked. i grabbed the crusade purple last night to 49 for 225$ thought that was cheap

yes this would be it. i'll take the upcharge with no complaints at all

there is a pop 1 of a holo 10 with no auto grade. and now a pop of 1 with the 10 auto grade. i know some people don't like adding it but it looked clean so figured why not go ahead and do that

Lineage Scripts were redemptions. I've been waiting on my /49 copy for well over a year now.

I always take those 'word from their camp' reports with a grain of salt.

But I could theoretically see where a concern could arise. They saw exactly what happened to AD over the course of 7 years. I know, I know...David Griffin...03 Lebron!!, etc etc...

I just hope Zion's image doesn't get compromised by a nefarious 'uncle' or family member a la Kawhi. He genuinely seems like a good guy, and anything but a premadonna.

That's what prompted my post. Saw that (properly listed) auction sell, as well as a few numbered ones (like the CAD$105 Essentials Red) sell seemingly quite low.
I don't even know what sets are in Chronicles to be able to make a list but I would like to see what everyone thinks in terms of order.

Aside from the hobby only sets, I go:

Chromes:
Crusade
Phoenix
Flux
Hometown Heroes

Foil:
Essentials
XR
Recon
Marquee

And then the only paper I like is Luminance, even though they ruined it for 19-20. Score, Rookies & Stars, and Classics are cool too because they are tougher to find.

Yeah it stayed in 20's for a long time..was hoping to get a steal but still under $100 isn't bad. I know the PR is somewhat low despite being unnumbered
