Did anyone see this guy last year? He has the highest spin rate of any pitcher in MLB. Makes it look like he is pitching with wiffle balls. Hitters are in absolute amazement. McLean make them look stupid.

I've followed baseball for 50 years and the closest pitcher that comes to mind with anywhere close to McLean's movement is Greg Maddux, and frankly, its not even that close. In adition, Maddux' fastball was like 93 mph, and Mclean can throw the fastball 97-98 mph.

So what gives with the absurd #19 ranking with +3,000 odd for McLean ?
Mostly that high because the NL is stacked with aces and innings limits a lot of teams place on precious young arms but yeah he's filthy. Worth a fun $20 flyer for sure. I think he's the 3-1 favorite for ROY?

Nice looking Greene! I figure both red and green are color matches for HG.

Not as intensely as you’re surely still chasing Manoah, but yeah, I’ll pick up the occasional Greene.

I actually thought about you the other day. Have you seen the show, Bad Monkey? It’s set in Big Pine Key.

Ouch! I was just teasing and you went for the jugular...

To be fair, I haven't bought a Manoah card in years.

I was still there when they were filming. Various people told me they saw Vince around town. The scenes at his house are down Long Beach Trail, but not much else was actually shot there. Decent show.

Ha! That was perhaps a little sharp… I’m still hopeful that Manoah will rebound. I’m obviously not an insider, but it sure seemed like the Blue Jays gave up on him a little too quickly. Now, he and Grayson Rodriguez can lead the Angels to the promise land.

Yeah, Bad Monkey was an entertaining show.

It’ll be interesting to see if Gore can put it all together in ‘26. It seemed like it was about to happen last year, then the wheels came off.

If he does, that only increases the chances of him getting traded. I'd like to see what he can do with an actual MLB caliber defense behind him.

His issues seem mental more than anything else, but I'm hopeful as well.

imagine being an angels fan and going back to 2020 and being told you could Trade Taylor Ward for Manoah, Grayson, Nick Madrigal and Vaugn Grissom.

I had four total cards of Ryan Weathers. Two of them were purchased, which caused me to check the news. I had a base BCA in my drafts which I listed immidiately. Then this one, which I immidiately doubled the price;

I saw the news and almost bought a blue BCA for $30. But, ultimately, it probably won’t be worth it. I like Weathers, but he’ll be back of the rotation. It’s a good pickup by the Yankees, though—assuming Weathers can finally stay healthy.

Much like when Cabrera went to the Cubbies last week, I'll sell some of my Weathers cards in the next month or two, get my buy in down past zero then hold a few nice ones and see what happens.
Just need NYM to trade for Pepiot and I'll have a built-in out for 3 of my biggest bum stashes

Hoping Rogers will continue to build on his 2nd half season this year.

Dumpster diving can be lonely- it’s cool to have a few partners in the filth.

Os rotation is interesting…elfin and kremer to eat innngs, Bradish and Rogers up front and who knows with Baz?? Looks like they have a couple intriguing SP prospects possibly too.
Could be meh, could surprise

Feels good to return to my roots.

I’m predicting every relevant Dodger tears a hamstring or elbow ligament, and the World Series ends up being Reds-Orioles, with a Greene-Rogers duel in Game 7. Seems like a reasonable bet, yeah?

Sounds legit- Lodolo spins the gem in game 6 playing the part of a skinny Sid Fernandez to force game 7 for Greene's Doc Gooden.

If you’re gonna spend up for anyone, Perez and Greene are outstanding arms with considerable room to grow IMO
