Could be worse. The last big stock of something hot (hoops megas I think?) dropped at 3 in the morning. You might as well just hand deliver it to the bots and put a target gift card in there as well.

How soon do you find out if orders are canceled and you’re banned from target? Lol don’t think 5 orders of 3 megas will trigger that but just curious from those who had that happen.

i’m sorta surprised they are letting that “ship it” button stay live this long with no inventory. I know they have done it before.

i work for a a large ecom business and i know if that were us our customer service center would be getting blown up by consumers wanting to purchase (i bet target is as well on this) and that info would loop back to the site ops team in real time who would manually take that down until more stock hit.

I don’t think there is a real known trigger for the cancel, reseller ban. if you have made orders in the past circumventing quantity limits it could put you at risk.

Whether you consider yourself a reseller or not, target will when you make multiple orders to get around their limits. most people will get away with it, just choose wisely when to do it. this is a product worth gambling on, don’t get busted over topps factory sets or something.

There were a few members that reported their experience earlier on in this thread (around the time the sets were being shipped). Some reported getting orders cancelled and having their IP and/or credit cards blocked from the website. It definitely happens, but it seems to be a bit arbitrary.

I believe the people who got banned did 20-30 orders. I doubt 3 for 3 is ban worthy. Consider this - All these bot bois have consistently cleaned out Target for 20-30 boxes per launch, and have yet to be banned.

Probably not... I ordered 10 of the pulsar sets and there are several here that ordered much more than that. I'm not sure there is a specific guideline, so going forward you may just have to go with your gut if it feels like you're pushing it.

Unfortunately, it's hard to even get 1 order through these days lol

You will find out in a few days from Target. If they ship your orders, you are good to go. If they cancel, you might be flagged and then banned from future orders. Good luck.

i think people don’t understand the limit. you realize by making multiple orders to circumvent the limit that alone can get you banned right? do you think the limit is just to inconvenience you lol?

Now in reality you probably won’t have anything happen..but yes you are putting yourself at risk when you do it.

I put an order of 3 in and didn’t try again. i literally have thousands of dollars worth of in store card purchases over the past month and supposedly the algorithms track in store as well as online. who knows if that’s true but i didn’t risk it. as i said earlier, this is probably a product worth pushing the boundaries on, just don’t do it on a crappy product.

some people were reporting being banned for much less than 20-30 orders. it was like 2-3 orders 2-3 different times for some people.

If I remember correctly, there were a couple people who ordered 40+ sets who had about half cancelled. They did not cancel all of them. I think under 20 you will be safe on any blaster/mega purchase.

Seems that if they keep stocking things between 2 and 7 am PT, the only chance most left coasters are going to have is a bot.

I haven't been banned from Target, but after I hit 9-10 pending orders they start cancelling anything I order after that (but don't cancel the first purchases) until my pending orders get delivered/clear out. This is with a RedCard debit card.

I have hit my limit and had them start cancelling purchases a few times with no repercussions other than the cancelled purchases. I also buy a lot of groceries and household goods at Target, so I guess that could be a factor if they're trying to target pure flipping accounts.

this is what I expect, if anything. but with only 8 pending orders I expect to receive everything. I don't think an account that just spent $1000 on xmas presents and household goods a couple weeks ago is going to get banned over spending $1000 in cards

I ordered 45 and had six cancelled, maybe nine (can't remember).

We also do a ton of shopping in store which I think helps my cause.
