Pat Bev with the 0-5, -32 in 25 minutes box score and still running his mouth during the game lol

Gotta love the misplaced confidence... only way he still has a job

When Bucks first traded for him I was like wow MKE gave up a ton to get him. But he's been worth that and more. Without him MKE does not win their championship and he's kept playing at a high level and if MKE can win another title again this year he will again likely be a key part of them winning that title.

Bucks pooping the bed on purpose to make the Celtics continue playing hard for the remainder of the season?

One day after I just said Giannis and Jrue are the best 1-2 punch in the league, so of course they’re losing by 30 in the first half tonight 🤣

Welcome to today's NBA. For everytime a team goes 16-22, looks awesome, and blows a team out, variance dictates that you will get a few clunkers.

Nuggets looked real good without Joker tonight...

Crazy that he has them at the top of the West.

I think they said last night that he was planning on playing vs the Suns.

Easiest way to tell who doesn't watch Nuggets games is the people pumping up Murray/Gordon/MPJ in the MVP thread.

Naz Reid out for the year w/ a broken wrist ... I retract my statement about the T-Wolves being able to surprise.

He was a key piece; they're cooked.

And that's the problem....the optics are horrible when a team rests a star against Team A, but not Team B, down the stretch when the standings are this close.

After all, the Suns and Pelicans are only two and a half games apart in the standings....the Suns and Warriors only a game apart.

Who gets rested against whom could have a huge impact on who makes the playoffs.

Nuggets have a magic # of 3 to clinch the West, I think beyond that, rest is the primary goal. You can forgive them for taking a cautious approach when they have little to play for. That said, it looks like Jokic will play tonight; but Murray + Caldwell Pope will not. I think for the final six games, you'll see this kind of rotation in Denver where they're not 100% in any game.

And I believe that NO / LAL / MIN / OKC makes up the play-in teams with Dallas on the outside (and I don't believe any of those teams can get to #6, so Denver losing last night is of little consequence except for seeding in the play-in).

Jokic sat on the front end of a tight schedule to play in the more highlighted matchup later on.

Also, if you believe Twitter noise, Malone pulling a late season trick to assist the Pelicans in order to avoid the Lakers.

Yea, I don't understand the logic there ... figuring out who the 8th seed will be is an impossible task; the eight seed is the team that either goes L/W or W/W in the play-in depending on their seed. Denver has no ability to control who ends up at 8, or even tip the scales (no team does).

I don't either. I do like Denver as a 1st round matchup but I don't necessarily see this as a cake walk for the Lakers like some people do. This isn't the 2020 team. The Lakers don't have the big bodies to throw at Jokic (Dwight/Javale) and LBJ is older.

Of course....my point was just that the optics look really bad because the NBA has no guidelines or rules in place to govern the resting of players.

I'd also note that while the Nuggets have just about clinched the West, they're still two games behind the Celtics and only a game ahead of Philly in the overall standings.

So unless they think they're NOT going to make the Finals, they certainly do have something to play for....
