JK5 needs to offer a send in option for the Mays and Williams for $200 where he will color them. Instant success- he makes money and the base PR goes down in the process

Last time he did that I think they were $1k and he barely put some color on them. Was not the best effort on them from what I recall.

Im referring to send-ins. There are 1385 Williams and 1556 Mays that are completely B/W and have never had auto/color.

Offer a send in program and color those things in- let demand dictate supply.

I like this idea and it would work well with his cards. I was commenting that he "drew" on some of the Mariano cards for like $1k and they were underwhelming.

Your send in program would be nice though.

89TT Griffey just isn’t a good starting canvas.

It’s dark.

Fucci and Blake’s pink were welcome distractions to the dull OG card.

I was looking back at all of his cards so far, this is a great looking set!
The Siff is looking like a nice little standout card.

Kind of wish I was doing his set. I wasn't a Griffey fan as a kid but I did love his shoes and cleats growing up.

Agree with this.

I have enjoyed a couple iterations of the Griffey in P2020 but the original design always weighs the thing down from the start. FWIW I have always considered the 89 Topps design to be one of the most drab of the era in general.

For me, Saladeen and Oldmanalan are the two closest so for to making it their own.

They did a good job with the blue and orange lettering on Mets cards, and it was a way more dynamic design than 1988 Topps. These were the only things that mattered to me as a kid. It has some memorable cards: a great pic of a smiling Doc Gooden, Strawberry about to pounce on a pitch, Dave Winfield smirking, Steve Avery flipping a baseball.

Sorry! The way the set is going, 3265 is a fairly high PR, particularly since there doesn't seem to be thousands of Naturel set builders. I think it came out the same day as a Trout, so it probably got a Trout bump.

To my knowledge it's:
MLB (exclusive Topps)
NHL cards (exclusive UD), stickers (exclusive Topps)
NBA & NFL (exclusive panini)


Now, there's tons of CFL/European stuff that the above doesn't apply to but ...

That means that Topps can't print the logos and team names which will likely be very problematic for iconic cards.

Probably 1000 pages back I speculated that if anyone wanted to copy this in another sport, UD and hockey would have the best potential but Panini could make it work by doing the best card of the biggest names.
