Ohtani looked good at bat today, 2-2 with a couple singles. Madden said that Ohtani will pitch either Thursday or Friday so we'll see how he looks on the mound

For sure. Just happy to see him pitch. He walked a couple, and gave up some hits... but it's spring. Pitchers are often working on things, and I'd expect him to need to work on his control.

The fact that he looked comfortable, was hitting 100, and clearly had swing and miss stuff (5Ks in 1.2 innings) is a great start.

Yep. Fastball was 96-100 with the nasty splitter. He definitely needs to fine tune the command (left a few hangers there) and get a better feel for offspeed, but it's hard not to be encouraged. He looked free and easy.
