I just got these back from PSA!

The 2012 Topps Chrome Batting Variation has a total pop 3 and this PSA 9 is the highest grade.

The Opening Day Pitching Variation also has a total pop 3

A fellow board member messaged me and asked if he can send me an Ichiro card. He said he thought of me because he wanted it to go to a good home. Yesterday, it arrived. The card pops well and shines nicely in person! I love it! Thank you, SleepyWill! Happy holidays to you and your family!

Bowman Chrome - you did not specify if it is the English or Japanese version. This card is amazing and sneaky tough because both were redemptions (even though not autographed)

Was the English and Japanese text the same print run? I see PSA total pop at 388 versus 344 respectively and BGS (mattered back then) at 346 versus 325.

I did decide to finally pick up a Japanese copy.

its never been confirmed, but is believed to be the same PR

I used to see this pop on eBay here & there many years ago. I would always tell myself that “I’ll get one later. It should always be there”.. but then, the supply dried out and it rarely appeared on the market. One finally popped for a reasonable price, so I immediately snagged it to add to my 2001 Ichiro collection.

This is a foil 2001 Upper Deck “Stars of Japan” Ichiro card. In person, it really reminds of me the 1993 SP set

I just picked up this Gold to go with my other favorite 9, the Retrofractor. Both look better in hand than in photos. The gold is much brighter and more reflective than I thought it would be.

Still watching and looking for a Bowman Chrome Japanese text.
