I really don't like the way Harper has been fielding ground ball base hits where he has a chance to throw someone out. He catches it flat footed instead of running in and grabbing it in full stride and throwing.

I mean it worked out this time but not sure why he's doing that this year.

It just feels like he doesn't trust himself to field and throw in one motion this year as he has in years past. Maybe it's to protect his back with his new throwing technique or he's making sure he watches the ball into his glove with 2 hands. I have no idea but it's ugly to look at.

Braves have the Padres next and Phils have the Pirates. Gotta make up some ground there.

Then they play each other in a huge series.

If they can keep the lead to 3 by the final series of the season they can beat the Braves themselves. We'll see at least they are still in a race. The Padres are completely done. They have to leap frog so many teams and are 5 back and already losing 3-0 tonight.

I'm not a Phillies fan so i only want them to go to the playoffs for Bryce to get a shot to do well in post season and have a better chance at his second MVP

He's barely got a .900 OPS. It's a two man race.

Here are the only OFs in MLB history to have a 100/40/30/100 season: Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, Barry Bonds
