Of course Bronny gets a guaranteed contract.

I feel for the guy on the roster that gets cut.

I honestly cannot wait to see LeBron gone from the League. Something tells me he'll pop up again after retirement though. Dude has way too much ego and needs to be in the news.

I don't think the Warriors are title contenders, but I do see a world where they are still good this year. Some big ifs, but if (and this is the biggest one) Draymond keeps his head on straight, Kuminga takes another step forward, Podz takes a step forward, and Wiggins returns to earth, they could surprise a lot of people.

Melton and Slow-mo are very Warriors-ish players that can fit in well.

Pacers players from 2020 NBA draft and fair to say at this point Wiseman is the worst of the 5

#2 Wiseman
#8 Toppin
#10 Smith (now on Bulls)
#12 Hali
#14 Nesmith

Warriors also looking to add Hield in a sign-and-trade. Not a bad fit. Sixers would be happy to get anything for him in return, probably similar to what Golden State sent out for Anderson.

They had Nwora too. Wiseman has potential, they worked and worked with Smith until he could handle, pass, and shoot the ball, and even defend competently. Still couldn't control his anger.

Against certain matchups 23-year-old Wise will be good and if he ever puts it all together, his length gives him real potential. Arguably, hobby will even be watching Indiana next year as they are the most fun team to watch on a nightly basis.

Far cry from this year, when a tv broadcast in Philippines apparently cut from the live Pacers-Bucks playoff pregame to a replay of the previous night's Knicks game.

LeBron signed for two years. Working on a deal so the Lakers can be under the 2nd apron and add more players.

Bronny signs a 4 (!!!) year deal, with the last one being a team option. Damn.

I honestly don't remember the last time a 2nd round pick had a 4 year deal. I'm pretty sure it's happened in the past (was it Charles Bassey?) but it's weird seeing it so early in the preseason.

Bronny could have made more money a year transferring to Ohio State and actually becoming a legit prospect

That being said I don’t know why anyone cares anymore. The Lakers are irrelevant after the moves other teams have made

LeBron might take a 1-2M paycut so they can be under. Apparently they are working on it.

Gotcha. I just read that if he gave them a 1M discount, that would open up the taxpayer MLE (5.168M).

Well his old man got him paid for 3 years.

Also rumor was LeBron was willing to take less (like 20 million a year) if they signed a big name but since they failed he's taking max deal.

I thought the $224 had 4 as a typo when I originally saw it.

Crazy.

He makes 45M, he'll only make 54M a year if he becomes an All-NBA player.

The crazy part is the 54M deal would be better than the 45M one.

A fitting salary for someone whose greatest achievement in the NBA after three seasons is a 5th place ROY finish.

good get for Philly, even though Heat players typically do worse once they leave, the fit here was too good.

[Wojnarowski] Free agent forward Caleb Martin has agreed on a four-year deal guaranteed for more than $32 million with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources told ESPN on Saturday.
GS is apparently throwing everything at Ainge to get Lauri too... I hate how good a fit that'd be for them.

[Stein] Sacramento continues its pursuit of DeMar DeRozan via sign-and-trade and San Antonio has emerged as a potential third-team facilitator, league sources say. The Kings have chased DeRozan this week and Chicago is willing to facilitate a sign-and-trade but insists on a third team in the deal
Kings chasing DD hard. Seems the Spurs are choosing to stay young and build around Wemby, aside from grabbing player/coach CP3.

Yeah, but they are dealing with Ainge, dude probably wants Chase Center for Lauri

I'll be happy if they get Harrison Barnes or Lyles to soak minutes up at the 4 and get some depth. That team is gonna need help scoring.

The funniest thing is that Bronny is listed as a PG and did basically no ball handling. He’s definitely not a PG
