My respone:

For this to be the high of high end product line and to be this messed up? This is very poor quality control. Who ever is in charge there of quality control needs to lose their jobs. I think though this was more of knowing about these errors but not caring and just hoping that the consumer was too stupid to notice and have you get caught for doing this. I am glad I did not spend several thousands of dollars to buy a product this messed up. If Panini had any class not only would they fix the cards they would also give the buyer a refund or extra cards to show how sorry they are. Perhaps the only way to teach Panini a lesson would be for people not to buy their products until they actually showed they cared about the product they were producing.

all i got from reading the thread was, if u have some of these players in some of the sets, u may or may not have a game used card. of the emerald lucks (5) u may have 1 of the game worn or event worn. pretty much crap

Are you fine with me trading cards where I changed out the patch for a NFL Logo? These are fake patches brought to you by a NFL approved manufacturer.

If most of the current players have "event worn" as opposed to "game worn" it does not leave me very confident that the retired vets featured are all game worn.

He is not an idiot.

People can have differing opinions.

1syndicate and I probably wouldn't agree on this whole topic, but I guarantee there would be no need for us to call each other names or lose sleep over it.

1syndicate is a good dude he is standing by Panini and that is understandable too.

For what it's worth, despite all this scandal and potential fraud with Flawless.. it is still my favorite product of this year and still would be the first 2014 product I would go back for more of if I wasn't trying to do my best to avoid it due to personal reasons.

So then they completely forged his response and used his name?

This is going to get ugly.

I haven't bought any of it, have you?

Do you think there's any card manufactures that haven't sold us "fake" stuff, purposefully or otherwise?

How are are all of those autograph cards going? No-one's ever found any authenticity problems with those.

At least he knows, and it seems clear that he didn't post what actually shows up as the 'moderated' comment.

Exactly.

BTW, do you grant wishes? I'm sure Panini could use a few right now.

That is straight up dirty and shows exactly what type of scum is working there.

Something needs to be done.

I cant even believe this. Theres is no way panini would go from that to this. I cant believe a company would do that. He had to have changed his mind or some thing. No way.

So, he's a shill basically? Got it.

No one in their right mind is siding with this joke of a company.

Unreal.. They took his negative post, removed all the content and then used HIS NAME to add their own message disguised as him. Omg I have no words.

I haven't read all 20 pages but a question I wonder is.... Does NFLPA know about this stuff going on? I highly doubt it. Wonder how they would feel about this stuff?

Here is another one praising Panini. Sure seems that Panini is faking these responses. I still see my response calling Panini out is still showing waiting moderation.

Panini’s honesty and detailed research into this matter is commendable. I respect and trust those who tell me they made a mistake and will make sure it doesn’t happen again. While this will result in a lot of negative talk from a vocal few, there is much good that will result in the future. Having truly “Game Used” material cards is far better than just labeling everything as “Player Worn.” And, having a process which guarantees the Jersey Cards are accurately identified is important to the hobby.
I am sure that Panini has/can fix them problem. If I may suggest, when the new process is finalized, it may be best to be totally transparent with collectors on how the improved process works. Even before this situation, there has been a significant number of skeptics with regards to the authenticity of “Game Used” memorabilia throughout the hobby. A tab on your website with a video of the process would help to convince the most paranoid skeptics.
While this situation may be embarrassing, my trust and respect for Panini America has grown. I look forward to doing business with Panini America for a long time.
