5 WAR per year for 15 years gets you in the hall of fame on the first ballot.

Except you’re forgetting he’s 24 years old and assuming a flat line. I’ll take the over the next 6 years.

Mabye..maybe not. But can he ever be an MVP contender? He could end up as anything from this generaton's Chili Davis to whom...Eddie Murray?

MVP contender?
2022 Age 21 - 7th
2023 Age 22 - 4th

I think you’re failing here but what’s your definition of MVP contender?

Well Eddie Murray is a HOFer wth career 68 WAR a .287 BA 500 HRS and 3200 hits! Julio won't ever sniff those numbers and currently he s not a top 8 hitter..my point being to this point right now he's been ok to good but not better. Ohtani - Judge - Soto - Betts - Ramirez - Freeman - Witt - Vladdy all better.

Huh?

Switch hitter with 500 HR and 3000 Hits.

Every baseball fan knows him.

Surely you aren't serious and I'm just missing the sarcasm.

Julio didn’t hit his third homerun until May 25th last year.

If you're just a casual fan or ultra modern collector, I suppose it's possible not to know one of the few players to ever achieve 500 Home Runs and 3000 hits. But also understand that its important to expand your knowledge of baseball history and you can do that without talking down about Hall of Famers. I mean, if you walked into a bar in Baltimore and yelled that out loud, people would laugh at you. But based on your comment, I dont think you're old enough to get into one.

Bumped into Eddie Murray at a Santa Clarita Costco ~ Summer 2010 and thought oh cool there’s a HOFer, shops at Costco just like me.

Check out the play Julio just made in the 8th to preserve the lead. That was elite and “Griffey like.”
