I love how this project has progressed over time. I think Shore is now the one having the most fun with this set which I never would have thought based on his first couple of cards.

I think that's what makes the long tail demand a sure thing. I bet we both eat our words later on some of the cards we "don't like" on their release date.

As a non-Phillies and non-Nats fan, I like Harper. He's fun to watch and I think he's done a much better job than most would at dealing with the hype behind him from a young age. He's not the best player in the league by any means, but he's got personality and I can't help but root for him to put up another MVP season.

Good luck getting Harper to sign anything, much less this card. Guy even stiffed his own fanfests when he was with the Nats. Great contract for a guy who can't even hit .250 anymore. Shore's card features a legend and a guy who is a legend in his own mind.

I mean, he's above .250 with an OBP around .400 in a season where a ton of top guys are struggling. Harper is no Trout by any means, but it's not like he's a scrub either. He's put up over 30 WAR before turning 28, even with his inconsistencies.

His obp is consistently high. I haven't followed too closely, but is he one guy that has been particularly hurt by the shift?

I like the OMA Frank Thomas as an insert or something. But it doesn’t really represent the original rookie card in anyway. Which is disappointing. It’s very different, of course, but kinda reminds me of the Rochester Clemente (again, totally different) in that it’s a really neat concept that has nothing whatsoever to do with the original card.

Approximately 5 or 6 of the Blake Jamieson / Trout on card autos have surfaced. NONE of the others at all.

Trout for the win today.

Nice stuff this week, but I'm a little stressed with the Wheeler backlog. Bought the two card bundle today from Topps.

Probably will get yesterdays two card bundle from Topps as well, depending on what tomorrows cards look like. The Griffey and Doc are pretty sweet
