Not only that, but you don't get to know the players as much as before when they needed to be there for 3/4 years. A lot of love in college ball has to do with the players on the team.

Imagine if Smith or Downs left Ohio State this year (knock on wood they won’t with our spending) but it could happen

Even the most loyal Ohio State fan has to roll their eyes at College Football at that point

So full circle it doesn’t surprise me that Monday turned off some “former fans” that simply don’t care anymore
