well Herro comes off the bench... but yeaah Duncan Robinson is rolling right now, it'd pretty much be his minutes.

The league and the refs have failed us. Lakers Celtics would have been ratings gold. But for real, I’m excited for a Denver Miami showdown. Nuggets have been solid all season and through the playoffs and Miami is like a Cinderella story with playoff jimmy being amazing. I won’t be disappointed with either team winning.

The league/refs were the reason why the Lakers went as far as they did. Imagine if they didn't get as much assistance, they would've been knocked out much earlier.

I read Reaves has more 3’s than the rest of the team combined this series. That’s not a formula for success. Need spacing

If you search this thread for that word, 3 of the first 4 results are from me, and guess which team I'm talking about needing it

Miami and Denver have been playing great but I would love to see a series where their shooting go back to their norms. Although I've been waiting for Miami on that since the Bucks series and they are still killing it lol

Miami is just dominating Boston though, even if their shooting cooled I don't think it would matter much.

Quote:
[Chiang] An important part of the Heat's winning formula during this year's playoffs, they continue to win the non-Jimmy and non-Bam minutes: Without Bam on court in playoffs: +3.7 points per 100 possessions Without Jimmy on court in playoffs: +10.8 points per 100 possessions
Quote:
[Chiang] Heat pushed Celtics to seven games despite shooting just 41.6 percent from field and 30 percent on threes in last season's East finals. In this season’s East finals, Heat is shooting a ridiculously efficient 51.9 percent from the field and 47.8 percent from three-point range.
^this kinda proves it. They've just seen too much of this Boston team and Riley+Spo are too smart vs a rookie coach.

I think it's this. Just looking at the shoting, it seems:

Miami going below their average: tight 7 game series
Miami going above their average: blowout, possible sweep

Miami probably wins it if they shoot their average but it'll be interesting to see what happens if they face Denver. I think Spo will outcoach Malone but I do think it won't be as bad as what he's doing to Mazzulla.

Difference between Boston and Denver is Denver has a good floor general in Jokic. He made the calls in the 4th of game 3 down the stretch according to Malone

He does this regularly - it could be a very good series I think.

They weren't even within a sniff of a playoff team before the trade.

I didn’t say they didn’t get better. I said they’re not a championship team.

Tough to say who would've been the greatest challenger for the Nuggs. Probably healthy Clippers and Healthy [Sober Ja] Grizz?

The Lakers have played them 3 relatively close games in a row. If the Lakers somehow win 2 in a row (which is unlikely), this board will be going absolute berserk.

Game 1, they were within 3 with 2 mins left and had leads in the 4th in games 2 and 3. Joker and Murray have just outplayed AD and lebron when it matters. Lebron is 6-19 (1-9 from 3) in the 4th quarters this series.

Lakers have been right there.

Game 1 was a weird blowout where Denver got bored/complacent I think. LA held 1 2-pt lead early in the 1st quarter, the rest of the game was Denver letting them back in it. Game 2 was the closest with 11 lead changes. Game 3 was also weird in that there were 5 ties and 10 lead changes but LA only ever lead by 2 pts, and with that being on their home court, that's kind of a dominating game by the road team.

Question now is do the bad men show up again tonight to complete the kill?

Just watched the SAS apologetic LeBron take from today.

It's not LeBrons fault. It's not LeBrons fault. It's not LeBrons fault. It's not LeBrons fault. It's not LeBrons fault. It's not LeBrons fault. It's not LeBrons fault.

This is the guy people claim is the G.O.A.T.? Needs talking heads to get out in front of a possible sweep to make sure others know..."It's not LeBrons fault." So blame could be placed elsewhere.

Just a quick question... if the Lakers were up 2-1 heading into tonight... would someone other than LeBron get the praise for the way the series is going? Or would every talking head fall over themselves praising LeBron for doing great things with this roster in his 20th year?

I bet it's the latter.

I bet they’d say it’s AD’s team? Because that’s what they and LeBron himself have said all post season
Can’t wait until he’s 45 and people are still holding him to the same standards as 28 lol

Keep marginalizing the Heatles' accomplishments, bois.

Trucked the consensus favorite to win the title, made the Celts look like a g-league expansion squad, battled through a tougher road gauntlet, are the most disciplined and gritty team this playoffs, and have Jet Magazine's honorary Man Of The Year returning from sabbatical. All without a single hobby darling for Cardsin to chase and complain about.
