I was watching ABC news tonight (really my wife was, can’t stand their bias myself) and they spun it as “Biden is so confident of his lead in every battleground state, he’s campaigning in unimportant states”

Not sure if that is true but if that is really the case then his camp is learning nothing from Clinton in 2016. He has spent more time there than she did but he needs to go back right away.

And Trump is in Omaha right now. That seems just as odd, no? Haven't looked into the down ballot aspect at all. Maybe they are chasing something there.

Will change, but a lot of ground to make-up.
I live on US1 and 32nd, on the Coconut Grove side. Not far from where you were.

Yeah, it's been strange.

I can forgive Trump a bit for his ME, NE, try to snag a house vote and a state senator stops because he's doing 3/4 a day. Biden makes two a week and he's choosing terribly.

Yup, know it well. Always a police stop on a Saturday night for the college crowd coming back from the Grove.

I miss Mr. Moes.

I think the candidates should be required to visit all 50 states before the election

Lol Mr Moe's.

I go past there a lot. I used to stop in once in a while, pre-covid. It's right by the post office.

Love that place.

I think Biden is more of a power move to go to those states.
The states he is visiting are stretch states for him and by going, it may show the Trump campaign they know something they don't (like bluffing in poker)

Additionally, Trump campaign just pulled $2.2 mill in advertising from Florida and some is going towards Wisc and Mich ( I think)

It looks like metal chess is going on with where they are visiting.

Well Florida is about wrapped up. Smart to move resources to WI and MI. Trumps map is expanding, Biden's is shrinking.

The report you saw of Florida was bogus. It was Bloomberg media thinking they had something which they did not (no spending was pulled, just changed from Trump campaign to RNC).

Bloomberg corrected w/ a nice little update that said "Whoops"

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/artic...ers-final-week

But to your point; Georgia is worthless to Biden. If it's close, Trump has no chance anyway. It's the same "power" Clinton tried to display when she was campaigning in ILLINOIS. And then when it's over, "Electoral college is stupid, should be by the popular vote"

Get your ass north and actually put the work in to win an election. Trump is flying in on helicopters, running four rallies a day and the dem nominee for President is giving speeches to empty parking lots and decomposing in his basement. The contrast is crazy.

Saw a thing on news working out at gym tonight both WI and MI are top 5 in spending by parties in this campaign because both are likely going to be toss up swing states that will help decide who wins.

It is my belief that removing money from Florida is a mistake for Trump and it will cost him the state.

Jerry - Has the summer of George begun yet? Or are you still decomposing?

George - Decompressing.

I'm sorry, is the pandemic over? Why should Biden be like Trump and host non-stop super spreader events? The irresponsibility being shown by Trump and his camp should be astounding given it is being done by a sitting president. But then again it is Trump so it doesn't come as a surprise.

Would be great if that was the case but don't see it. Pretty sure Florida is a lost cause at this point for Biden.

At this point might as do as many rallies as you can. All the experts are claiming it's going to get worse before it gets better and we won't have a vaccine until spring or summer of 2021. Both guys should be working their butts off to try to get as much as they can in. A week from now it's over and you don't worry much until 2022 mid-terms to try to flip the house/senate over or keep it.

Again throwing out riots. Is Biden endorsing these? Is he hosting the events? Trump is actively holding huge rallies in the middle of a pandemic and does so with with hardly any precautions.

Well, while the Republicans added hundreds of thousands in reg #'s across swing states in 2020, Dems refused to knock on doors because of COVID. Are democrats going to come out and vote on November 3rd, or are they too scared? One side is actively trying to win this thing, and the other is trying to tell it's constituents that to go outside is death, Biden leading by example.

It still *#&!s with my mind that this is an active strategy to win the Presidency.
