I've been actively searching/buying Zion since May and have acquired a total of.... Six cards... None of them that special either! (half are Chronicles). But I really believe he's going to be a stud next season and gain a lot of value.

It has been AGES since I got my last Zion rookie.

I have a few raw versions of below but I wanted to see what a CSG slab looked like. I got this for 60 bucks. Not to shabby. I went on a buying spree a long time ago as I really loved these little SP gold holo rookies.

Anyways...glad to add this.

Just weird cause there's less than the true blue and that goes for like 12k. Should've been 6k at least. Does anyone know how much a psa 10 true blue optic /59 would go for?

I don't understand why Lamelo cards are selling for more than Zions from the equivalent sets are. Surely it's recency bias or something, but Zion is more of the 'generational talent' of the two?
Seems mad to me.

Super low pop counts for the lamelos. Thats all there is to it.

But for ungraded cards?

A Zion Spectra /8 went for under $1k a few months ago. A Lamelo Spectra /10 is currently at $2k. That gap seems mind boggling.

Fast Break looks like a knockoff product, which it is. The Blue Ice is also numbered to /99 and that Fast Break Blue is /175.

Was feeling a bit nostalgic, so I dusted off the Ashley Graham notty clips to remind me what it was like to feel again.

Step Daddy'ing 1 through 5's off the dribble still don't make no goddamn sense.

Lawd I almost forgot how good our boi is. Perfectly frames his ethereal power, grace, and what might be the league's most explosive first step. Those handles are just a glimpse of the point forward demigod soon to come.

Vegas knows.

The Lamelo is a gold and the Zion is a die cut (had to look that one up). People know gold. Nobody knows the other Spectra parallels. Die cuts also suck as parallels. Your buyer pool for that Zion is very small.

It is amusing to see a Zion /8 sell for less than the cost of what Panini wants for a 2020 box of that crap.

A couple more Zion gems back from my latest PSA submission…nothing crazy but it’s still nice to have these slabbed. I actually have never bought a Zion single, and all my PSA 10’s (and one PSA 9 - Elite Aspirations RC /99) were pulled and subbed to PSA by me. Always feels good to pull a card and have it gem.

Very nice, just received a sub back myself. I didn’t pull these, but bought them along with others in bulk from the guy who did. Always happy to add some lower end. Don’t bash me for pumping but the optic’s seem criminally cheap when comparing to other recent rookies optic psa 10.

While I think Zion could be considered the mvp based on how bad the Pelicans would be without him, those other guys are likely to be on top seeded teams, with the exception of maybe Trae, and therefore probably have a better shot.

I was thinking though, in regards to the most improved player odds. Is Vegas expecting the jumper to emerge more? As someone pointed out, it’s hard to make a huge jump from a statistics standpoint. But I bet a lot of people would be impressed if fat boi started pulling up for J’s, and making them, with regularity. Anybody have any insider info on zions gym habits this offseason? Are the big Mac’s and IG models, errrrr, massage therapists being ubered in on the daily?

Oh wow those were good deals. I admit I don't even search for Chronicles anymore so whenever you guys post about buying those I wish I still had it in my saved searches. Can't wait for a year from now when we're like "Hey remember when we were able to buy blue /99 Zions for the price of an ungraded Luka base card?"
