One thing I definitely understand is that cases have only increased in Omaha since our mask mandate. Everyone I see on a daily basis while doing business all over the city is wearing a mask. But I'm no scientist.

The media has discredited itself over and over and over the last 4 years, especially this year. What's the point of having "news" if all they feed you is slanted disinformation? Here's a weird idea, how about a media that reports facts of major stories without bias opinions and garbage "sources"?

Sad but true. I have voted Democrat my whole life until this election. I was going to vote blindly Democrat once again but the one good thing that LBJ did was force me to do research on what is going on in our world. How shocked I was to learn the facts and so much hidden information not in the mainstream media.

I actually thought up to this point as well that our news was 100% and politics did not play a part in what is reported.

We have a much bigger issue going on than who is the President, but at this point, I am voting to end the corruption. I hope everyone else does their research as well before voting blindly.

not necessarily, being from illinois im old enough to remember the rioting when the bulls won the championships...and that was after something good for them. so funny enough the rioters will most likely be the dems regardless of the results. Election night is on tuesday, a worknight, republicans will be in bed to get up for work the next day.

It's not the entire media (every single source) that slants things against Trump. Many do...there's no denying that. But some are in favor of Trump. Some slant things that direction.

An unbiased media that simply reported facts would be awesome. I'd like to think that if that's what people (consumers) wanted, someone would step up and take over. It just hasn't worked that way.

Our government cannot interfere with free press though. Our founding fathers put that in the Constitution for a reason. It's not just an Amendment...it's the First One!!! It was hugely important to them, the people that brought our union together to escape tyranny.

Time and again throughout history, state control of media has resulted in oppression. It's not a new thing. It wasn't a new thing 240+ years ago even.

Allowing government to say which press is legit is simply dangerous. It's okay to dispute what they say, but anything more than that from our government is simply ignoring the wisdom of those that risked so much to create a better way.

Let the media battle with each other, as they always have. Let Fox say CNN is bogus. It is not the government's place.

There are 2 right-leaning sources I know of in the White House press pool, Fox News and more recently OAN. When Trump dared to take a question from the OAN reporter there was a big hubub over it because they were labeled as conspiracy theorists. CNN is trying it's hardest to discredit Fox News because if they fall it's pretty much game over.
I also understand what you are saying but when it's come to the point where a majority of the media are straight up lying about the President and totally ignoring anything that makes Democrats look bad it's gotten past simple media bias. I know you disagree but I see Trump calling out the media's B.S. as one of his greatest accomplishments.
