Not only that, but I don't know many people that feel that he has the potential to perform at the level of any of those three players (except Eloy Jimenez)

Bottom line...I think his market is being propped up by a lot of "new" collectors who are only in it for the short term gains, which won't be good for Robert prices if he doesn't win the MVP in the next year or two.

It is possible Robert PSA10 is priced so high is due to how rare packed pulled 10's are. I have few or his cards and they come with a bad corner usually. But agreed that not too many people think he is near the likes of Soto, Acuna or Tatis.

The only Robert PSA 10s in hand are those from Express grading. Once Standard/Bulk submissions get back, value will correct itself appropitely.

His cards are high, but his ceiling hasn't been hit. There is still room for growth. However, I do agree that there is a ton of room for Bo to move. I love Bo and he would be my primary 2020 target.
I agree with this the most. I don’t think Robert is anywhere near his ceiling but I do believe Bo and LouBob prices will be neck and neck heading into the off season. I’m a shiny chrome buyer. I was buying Robert prisms at $70 and have since stopped when they reached ~$120. Bo is nowhere near that right now but I think he will be.

Don't think it will be by the end of this season. While I think Bo will go up... there are only a few weeks left, and it will be hard for Bo to catch LouBob in that time. Especially if LouBob wins ROY.

Both will get hype going into next year, but I think it will take a good month of Bo outperforming LouBob in April for their prices to equalize.

I do agree w/ you here as time hasn’t been on our side to try and buy realistic Gems as of yet. But these cards truly are quite sensitive. Just look at the #392 Gold /2020. Pop 1 out of 25 total graded and remember that excludes submissions like mine who submitted w/a minimum grade that wasn’t achieved. I Expressed 4 LouBobs (Sapphire/Golds/Yellows) and only 1 came back a ten the three paper were prob 9’s. My mistake for doing that b/c a 9 in these in plenty desirable and I’ve since sent my gold back w/a minimum 9. Point is their not gonna be as plentiful in Gem Mint form as some.

I wonder how the overall condition of the factory sets are going to be. Those black corners on the LouBob are tough out of a pack, but his card will be smack in the middle of that factory set brick.

Million dollar question right there ! I’m pretty curious tho. Every base 392 single I’ve bought isn’t near a worthy submission. Definitely rough IMO but maybe the factory sets will make it out safe Lol. And don’t get me wrong I realize I’ve got 35 base #78 Bo’s sitting here that aren’t all perfect either but the LouBobs just seem to be a bit worse IDK

2019 set, especially the Tatis 410 were in amazing shape, so hopefully. 2020 sets are going to fly off the shelves.

Default The Bo Bichette Thread

Admittedly, this is a pretty dorky card. But it doesn’t seem to have a massive print run and it features the flagship photo, so I figured it’s worth a $10 gamble.

This kid is the truth! I’m shocked by how affordable his cards are and how low they got when he was out with the injury. I certainly capitalized!

Yeah wish I hadn’t bought so much of several players over the past year. I’m done buying for the foreseeable future but man..If I wasn’t I’d be hopping on some more Bo flagship golds and Topps Chrome Color !!! You did well on your timing for buying Bo !

I couldnt pass up this one. I just love the stadium club shot, CN Tower in the background, the gold mint on this...pretty much everything about this card is amazing to me.

Blue parallel...jersey number...I’ll take it!

Someone else shared their Bo Transcendent the other day, and I immediately decided needed one. Regardless that it’s Bowman instead of Topps, I think this is the best Transcendent design yet.

I think this looks awesome!

I love non mainstream rookies, it helps break up the look in the binder between all the standard topps/Bowman type rookies.
