It's still a treble, just not the treble.

technically yes its considered, but i personally don't see it it as one. I also don't think they are going to win the CL, PSG have a lot of momentum after dumping out Bayern, I think they are going to scrape through the tie and take out Man City as well by only a goal or 2. Mbappe is hungry.

Not a chance. FA cup is much more prestigious and difficult than EFL.

I didn't think it was serious at first but it sounds like Daniel Ek (Spotify founder) is going to make a formal offer to Stan Kroenke for Arsenal. Bergkamp, Henry and Vieira are part of the team he is assembling. Whilst he is a legit billionaire (worth about $4.8bn), Arsenal are valued at more than half his worth ($2.8bn) and Kroenke would likely want a significant premium to even think about selling. I suspect he would require other backers or be the lead of a consortium if he was serious in getting something done.

Nagelsmann and Bayern reach agreement, the exact amount of compensation still has to finalised (around 20m-25m euros) but by all accounts it sounds a done deal

Yeah I want to believe. Strange the mention of Henry and co, while they are wealthy, I would think this is a few levels above them in terms of their finances unless they have been part of some other consortium?

While I certainly hope we have an ownership change, I hope fans don't expect us to all of a sudden be splurging as it isn't a guarantee for success. I just want more accountability and ambition.

I really need closure on Wenger's dealings in the transfer market LOL. How much of it was him being stubborn, how much was the lack of funds? The year we didn't buy an outfield player and lecister won the title and the year we didn't buy Xabi Alonso for 12m pounds - who's fault was that?

For years we were always one piece away and I just can't believe that Wenger didn't know that himself. I also remember he once said one of our loan covenants was that we could only spend what we made from transfers. Who knows.

At the end of the day, Arsenal had the right idea moving to a new stadium and building a sustainable model. Where we got caught out was inflation. We sat on cash reserves for ages, at one point we had more cash reserves than I think basically all the league combined. Year after year 30m pounds became worth less and less.

Arsenal fans

I have sympathy for Arsenal I really do, but lets be honest - you drove out the only good thing that had happened to you in decades with no care or plan for the future. The club have alienated your core fanbase and replaced them with the Arsenal TV Brigade, who are without a word of exaggeration the most embarrassing thing in world football, and the clubs prime concern is wooing football tourists flying in from Japan, China and Korea on match days that provide no atmosphere or lay down long term roots in the club local area or community, whilst sticking two fingers up at local support (Legacy Supporters that the Super League called them/us). Your whole ethos that made you a genuinely special club has been thrown in the bin. Even Ian Wright secretly thinks you're garbage these days. He spends more time talking about Leeds lol.

You talk about Wengers dealings that brought you almost a constant stream of success, but you're now a club that's recently just spent 75m on Pepe, 30m on a player that doesn't even want to play for you in Saliba, 10m on one of the biggest defensive liabilities in Europe in Luiz, Guendouzi, Torriera - more players that don't want to be there, and Thomas Partey, who is borderline a flop.

You've got a striker that would rather be doing balloons at parties, and another who couldn't give a monkeys about the fans and just quit his social media in a tantrum.

C'mon. Your whole club is a mess. Wenger left in 2018, you've had three seasons to turn it around or steady the ship and you have failed, you're sinking.

I lived across from the stadium for years. It's sad seeing the club slowly being replaced by Corporate FC. The fans around the streets slowly changing from locals and londoners, to suits, celebs and bankers, to tourists on day trips.

But yeah. Wenger.

Prestigious, yes. More difficult? Don’t know about that one. Literally play the same clubs in both. Only true difference is the prize money and FA Cup is open to all of England.

UEFA confirming teams will be able to select 26 players rather than 23 due to the issues this season. Opens the doors for a few managers to take a punt on fringe players or longshots recovering from injury (eg VVD, Fati)

Harry Kane might be the second ever to lead EPL in goals AND assists yet he won't win EPL player of the year.

Chelsea started very strongly. Pulisic goal came a few minutes after another Werner sitter miss.

Easily.

Spurs have Kane and Son, and not much else.

Bale is a joke. The rest of their squad is typical of a team that hasn't won the league for 60+ years.

The return leg at Chelsea should be a fun watch.

Tammy Abraham linked with a move to Leeds.

Chelsea linked with a move for Lewandowski.

Silly season is upon us.

Kane is +300 to win player of the year
Son is +25000

Son had a good start but he faded.

Chelsea should have ended the entire semi final tie in the first 30 minutes yesterday and they're still not being taken seriously. Madrid havent been great this year and Chelsea are the best defensive team in Europe since Tuchel arrived. Not sure why everyone thought they had no chance

Leeds, Liverpool, Man City and Brighton all have better defensive records than Chelsea over the past six games.

Over the last ten games, they are worse than Man Utd, and equal with Leeds.

So not sure where you pulled that from!

Chelsea aren't scoring either, behind Burnley, Arsenal, West Ham, Leeds, Leicester, Man Utd and Man City over the same period.

.
Forgot Tuchel has only been there for 6 games.

And ffs, apply a bit of context and common sense with the West Brom result with 10 men.

Real ain't great and they'll probably beat them in the 2nd leg.

All these teams are average.

They are lucky bayern was injured.

Which is why I also included over the last 10 games.

Fact = Chelsea are NOT the best defensive team under him in the Premier League, never mind the whole of Europe (that would be Atletico Madrid)
