He was on the team while they were still cheating. It’s not tin hat to say he could have been part of it. At the least, he certainly benefitted from it.

His 2022 is shaping out to be great. But the season isn’t over. And all of his non-counting stats were slightly better in 2019.

Didn't come here to do that. I like reading the player threads. Only commented because the suggestion that Yordan should be a household name is outrageous.

Don't own any yet, but I'm a huge fan of Yordan's Topps Pristine card. We're used to all kinds of smiley Yordan pics, now we get a glimpse of the last thing many murdered baseballs saw.

Bringing constant umprompted negative commentary to a player appreciation thread of a player who is performing at an elite of the elite level just for the sake of being negative is the textbook definition of hateration, bordering on holleration even.

Except no one is being negative just to be negative. There is a legitimate debate here. If he played the field and was on the Red Sox, there wouldn't be a debate. But you have an interesting situation where for the first time in a very long time you have a DH that's this good and a guy who could be a hobby superstar, yet he isn't, because of DH/Astros. Yet others here just think he's not a hobby superstar because he's under the radar(LOL). And there's another crew arguing he has a legit shot at an MVP(0%). I don't want anyone being taken in by that naivety

Hell. JD Martinez plays for the Red Sox and essentially has put up Yordan numbers and isn't terribly collectible. The upside to Yordan is that in about 10 years, he could have something like 450 homers, maybe a WS or two, maybe a number of top 5 MVP seasons.

Yordan Alvarez +1000

He is the third favorite. There have been countless examples in every sport of players with much longer odds than that at this point winning MVP. Please stop quoting his drivel.

Nice! My two PSA 9 reds have only been subbed to PSA once each.

However, I have plans to likely crack and send them to BGS. I totally agree that centering seems to be the issue (top/bottom). One of mine looks better than the other, but we'll see what BGS says.

The 7.5 with them got hit with a 7 centering grade. Good luck though. Hope you wind up with a gem.
