If that happened, the Mathews and Campanella cards are sitting at the bottom of an ocean too. Half as many of those two, a HOF RC of a 500 HR club guy and a 3 time MVP. If number made is so important, then why aren't those two cards more valuable than Mantle?

Because Mantle had the higher WAR?

Nice Siff and JK5 collections, ObanMontecristo!

Unless I missed it or forgot, it took a long time for WAR to be mentioned in this thread. Not too shabby.

The picture groups look great. I'm waiting until I have them all together to start arranging and figure out what I'm going to do to display them all.

Hoping for a nice end to the week with a couple of strong cards. Have a great weekend!

Grabbed the 3 pack of the Siff World Series cards. Any ideas where these will finish PR wise?

I sent off another ~40 P2020 cards to PSA. Can’t wait to get them back.... in March.

Part of my Jeter and Ripken display. This will be my favorite display. Still working on a display of one of each player and artist(can’t duplicate). That one is tough choosing.

Yeah, I think I'm going to get on the Siff cards too. There is only 3 hours left. PR will be interesting. Will Randy A or Mookie have more?

On the Mantle/Matthews/Campanella "debate":

Which card would you rather own?

Which card would you rather sell?

Which card would you rather buy?

Which player out of the 3 would your neighborhood know?

There aren't very many people that are going to be able to own complete player and/or artist 20-card sets. Those that do might have something to treasure for years to come.

I will treasure mine.

Exactly Matt. People will always remember this set, especially those of us on this forum. Sometimes there is a lot more to a set than worrying about final monetary value. I believe these will hold decent value over time, but this set will be iconic to most of us here on the board

SHORE GRIFFEY, EFDOT DOC, BLAKE MCGWIRE
To make this more challenging, I entered P2020 cards.

What I have so far. The case displays 60 cards. Will have Siff, Thiele and Saladeen in the case once complete. Companions will get there own display.

I think the Gibson set will make a great border for my Tim Carroll Gibson with the original card centered at the top.

Awesome! Gibson has been the 1 player I have collected from the start, as his rookie card is one I found in grandmas attic in 1989 and became a fan. P2020 got me back into collecting again after being out for 24 years. And luckily still have the Gibson rookie card!

Are you sending them in the original holders? If not, how are you sending them? I've never sent thick cards to PSA.

I might break my only artist sets I'm collecting rule for that Vides. I really like it on that card (very similar to how much I liked his Gooden).
