Yeah that boggles me too but I get it. On one hand, you have the Yankees fastest base runner so why not try and score on the base hit but on the other hand, you had no outs with DJ coming up.

Something tells me tomorrow’s game will be a slugfest, although I don’t see Cole having 2 bad outings in a row.

Hmmm with today’s lYankee lineup - I highly doubt it
No LeMahieu (day off) Voit is leading off with Gardner batting 2nd

Cole hasn’t gotten a lot of run support - he’s gonna have to be on his game

On the plus side the Kraken isn’t in the line up so that’s a good sign

3 - 1 , 4 - 2 final score with 18+ strikeouts combined both teams

Facing a pitcher that throws BP level trash. Not a good sign for the Yanks.

It's taken awhile but it looks like Gleyber might be coming around.

A side note. I have no idea why the Sox gave him ANYTHING to hit with Sanchez being on deck.
