Basically, all the items you have for sale we would call your "port" or store.

Thank you for that info!

Do you guys have much luck selling star base cards on COMC or do you just stick to inserts and numbered cards?

I do numbered, relics, autos mainly. Alot of people seem to send in base, not sure if it's worth it at 25 cents a pop to send in

I personally stay away from non numbered inserts, and non rookie numbered cards for the most part.

If I am going to complain when they suck, I have to give a little credit when they don't

Just uploaded 1,600 cards to my account a few days early and they just shipped my order in record time (I paid for a slight upgrade not a major upgrade)

I wonder if people running sales currently will be credited somehow for the amount of time the site is down.

I didn't want to mock their 7a estimate until at least 7:01

What time y'all got?

Let's hear some guesses on when they come back and theories on what changed

Maybe the site being down is the new beta?
Maybe they attempted to correct the Teixeira SRP and the matrix broke?
Maybe GoDaddy raised their rent?

I'd like to get back on to accept an offer. Hopefully they fix the Challenges issue that I reported over a year and a half ago that would put some more cash back in my (and everyone else's account).

I think you're making a joke, but the issue is that if COMC marked you wrong on a card number or name or whatever, and you pressed the button that said something like "Report Incorrect", that they're supposed to credit you back the points (and therefore the store credit) that comes from getting your points from 25 to 100 or 0 to 200 or whatever. If you solve enough challenges, and press the button enough times when you're right and COMC/previous challenge answer was wrong, then COMC probably has some of your cash. They used to go through the bucket of incorrect/correct answers and credit you back the difference, but the code stopped working. Every few months, I remind them (or a different customer service rep) that the code is broken and they probably have thousands of dollars of our money not being disbursed properly. It's always "something they'll bring up at the next meeting" or "rolled into a future update" but it hasn't been solved for years.

Website is back up. Challenges still seem to be broken.

I have a streak of selling at least one thing per day going on. I hope that I can continue that streak today.

Not my only worry, but one that has been reported over and over again and bandaged over once, then broken and not fixed.
Sure, they owe me probably $15-20 from the 18 or so months this bug has been affecting it. But as I've corrected 10s of thousands of other errors for free, I would figure they would get this fixed to make their own challenges work correctly, and pay back all the members who this has affected. I regularly suggest improvements to the site, and Nathan was nice enough to call me two months ago to discuss the site for half an hour. I wanted to impress upon them the importance of correcting their millions of cards before they all got uploaded to eBay and embarrassed the site.
I like the site, but I want it to be much better (and cheaper to use). If they take 10% of every transaction on site, but no cashouts, I think that would be pretty cool.

After the morning downtime, I received two offers on site but no emails alerting me to them. The challenges are working again, so that's good.

It's more about them following things through than anything...how many things have been started (SRP, Auctions, The Vault, etc.) and abandoned.

Serious question

How hard would it be to add 1 layer of filter?

I want to look at Baseball Cards -> 2010's -> Serial Numbered -> Less than 5 in stock

Or less than $1.25 each

Or any number of additional useful modifications?

They keep saying how many more items they have now, but no tools available to us to better navigate

Or:
1) See all cards on one page, of any condition including Dean's, sorted by price.
2) Exclude certain sellers
3) See seller of card you bought from
4) Ability to type in purchase price of cards loaded onto site (for tax records)
5) Make sure all auto and memorabilia cards actually have those keywords in the listing
6) Remove the "s" in 1975 Topps Minis because everyone knows the set as just "Mini"
7) Makes all Poor and PR and Poor to Fair one bucket so there aren't three of them, like NM for Dean's and Near Mint for COMC reviewed should be in one bucket.
8) Adds some options to the Challenges like "Multiple card numbers" and "Not a player name" to help those work better.

Just got an offer and the corresponding email. So that may have been a temporary glitch they worked out.

I would love to be able to get some sort of updated filter/search system in place. It would be a very positive change if they would do that. I wouldn't think that would be too hard either from a programming standpoint.

I have not gotten the vibe they will be doing anything so I just took shipment of 100 items

The slightly upgraded shipping got to me in 3 days
