A few of us were able to get Topps to foot the bill for us to promote eTopps at the National with tables in the corporate area. We had cards in the VIP bags, show exclusives at the booth to sell, computers at the booth to sign people up for eTopps. Everything was done the right way. Plenty of people cam by the booth for the show exclusives. Sales were ok. Everybody involved would have lost A LOT of money if it wasnt for Topps covering the booth cost.

Still a niche market for Now, so I imagine it wouldn’t be a winning endeavor.

In order for it to ever be a winning endeavor, it needs to be represented at the hobby’s largest trade show. The more people who know about it, the higher chance of future success.

I hope to see Topps NOW next year in Chicago.

Agreed. I don’t understand why it’s not bigger already, but I suppose national exposure, or lack thereof is a factor. Living has taken off and is blowing up. I like collecting both series, but still slightly prefer the concept of Now above all else. Surprised at how much Living has overtaken Now.

I didn't realize etopps still existed. I would love for Topps to subsidize booths for Topps now and whatever is offered on their website because I only know a things I've seen pictures of on here.

And I like the look of that one the best. The red, white, and blue looks great together.

I see it's gone now. Thought about picking up another one. Oh well.

Very pretty card!

I LOVE the black & white cards. I hope Topps continues doing the On Demand release at least once each year.

I think maybe we should have the Platinum event there vs the All-Star game next year....or we need to become more like the eTopps community was and put something together ourselves. Thing that helped eTopps was the stand alone message boards on the site...I mean many of Now’s biggest collectors and sellers didn’t know about blowout till I dragged them here.

I’ll suggest a link to Jeeves be added....to Topps’ site.

I liked the look of that one the best as well. It’s the one I bought. Figured all the non auto parallels will get the same type of plain relic pieces as the auto ones will probably get all the side plate pieces. Might as well buy the coolest looking color.

It's too bad they don't like realistically detailed painted cards...

"Create original artwork using personal styles and interpretations while still bearing a reasonable resemblance to the characters and scenes depicted. Mediums include: pencil/graphite, pen, inks, and marker."

...Jared Kelley is the best in the hobby, in my opinion.

Here are some 2.5" x 3.5", (regular trading card-sized), hand-painted examples of his:

...Just to show a few.

It’s a really great card. Surprised it printed that much as well though given the DBacks usually print in the 200s.

The reason you haven't seen much posting by me as of late, and what will limit postings by me in the future. See you all when I am finished!
